"Installed bad parts, wanted to charge another job to fix. Plumbing leaking in wall if tub is used. Caulking separated within 48 hours. Popcorn sprayed all over my skylight. Called me a liar multiple times, saying he warned me of bad parts. Not true. Shady company, unwilling to resolve anything they messed up. Pictures and texts will be posted on social media to come. (After ripping me off, he also ruined a neighbors remodel up the Street from me, also overcharged) I was quoted 22$ an hour for him, 15$ an hour for his helper for 40 hours. They both were they together COMBINED working 25 hours for 1700$ labor. That's 68$ each ... Unreal. Good luck"

"BUYER BEWARE: I can certainly say that you do not want to hire this company. I know Cody personally and put my trust in him to replace my roof professionally and correctly, but him and his crew clearly do not seem to know what they're doing and I regret using them. Other professionals I've spoken and consulted with can attest to the horrendous quality of business and poor install I received on my roof. To begin, communication was horrible, including the fact that I had to ask repeatedly when my project was scheduled all the way up until the week that they told me it would be done two months ago. I was also told less than 12 hours prior to the scheduled install date that the shingle style I chose was discontinued. How was I not notified when I picked it a month ago? I looked past it hoping everything else would go smoothly. The day of the install, I was told a foreman would be present. But whoever the foreman was, he clearly didn't seem to inspect anything. I couldn't ask questions during the install because no one doing the install spoke fluent English, which would have been fine as long as I was at least updated and a could know what was going on through the process and hear my input. After the crew left the install, dozens of screws, nails, trash, cigarette butts, and tools were found by me, some are pictured in my attached images. One of my visitors even had one screw damage his tire because of it. How do you leave a job like that? I hired two separate contractors to inspect the work done after completion and both have many concerns, especially with the way the metal portion of my roof was installed. My concerns started with me noticing areas of poor workmanship across the board; shingles completely missing nails, exposed nails, bent and damaged flashing, missing flashing, sloppy caulk jobs, smashed ridge vent, missing gutter guards, crooked chimney flashing, and other damage to my roof that hadn't been there prior. I will say that Cody tried to remedy the mess and fix leaks twice, and did fix some of the poor workmanship to some extent to look better, but I have lost all confidence in the integrity of the install from this company and my experience was unacceptable. Not only does my newly installed metal roof STILL leak when it never did before, but now I have ongoing worries that the rest of my asphalt roof is not installed correctly and will damage my home, as the metal roof is already doing. Cody has come and tried to remedy the issues twice which I appreciated his concern and wanting to try and make things better, but having to come and fix issues on a brand new roof repeatedly is not good business. At least he tried, but this company is an absolute joke and it should have been done correctly to begin with."

Drywall services FAQs

On average, drywall installation costs $2,000, depending on the size, complexity, accessibility, and location of the job. The typical cost range is from about $400 to $6,000, which includes materials and labor. Additional cost factors include the thickness of the drywall, the shape and height of the room, and the level of finish. The level of finish ranges from only hanging the drywall to taping and mudding the seams between panels to painting the walls.

Most drywall used for interior walls of homes is 1/2-inch thick. This size strikes a balance of being easy to handle and hang while being thick enough for the durability needed on interior wall applications.

The average cost to apply a skip-trowel drywall texture to walls is $1.25 to $2.00 per square foot. Ceilings cost slightly more because of the increased difficulty of working overhead. Additional cost factors include any drywall repairs and removal of existing textures or wallpaper.

The typical cost to repair drywall ranges from $300 to $900 for walls, and about $440 to $1,520 for ceilings. Cost factors include the size of the repairs and how extensive and specialized the repairs are. Average drywall repair cost ranges include:

  • Small holes (up to four inches across): $60–$200

  • Large holes: $50–$75 per square foot

  • Cracks: $60–$400

  • Dents: $60–$200

  • Ceiling repair: $320–$1,300

  • Water damage: $1,300–$5,550

  • Nail pop repairs: $60–$200

The cost to skim coat drywall is $1.15 to $1.35 per square foot. Most of the cost is labor, for the necessary skills to apply the skim coat with precision using high-quality tools. This is a job better left to the professionals for the best outcomes.
