As a small independent retailer since 1972, we keep our overhead low enabling us to pass on savings to you. As a member of the Abbey buying group of 800 member stores, we have buying power and selection. Our lifetime residential installation warranty is second to none. Our staff is knowledgeable and experienced. We realize when people come to us it is to find a flooring solution from someone that they can trust. We will only sell products for specific areas where they will perform, and we won’t sell you a product that won’t be right for your application. We do not offer free installation since our installer’s wives won’t let them work for free. Our pricing is straight forward, without gimmicks, and is usually less than the competition’s sale or discounted price. We invite you to come in and visit our extensive carpet, tile, wood, cork, linoleum, and luxury vinyl showrooms.

"Amazing job! I have already recommended Riverview Carpet and Flooring to several people. The whole experience from beginning to end was excellent!"

Sales & Installation of all flooring products: Carpeting, Ceramic Tile, Hardwood and Vinyl flooring. We have our own installation technicians. A specialty store with prices that will compete with the big box stores. Many of our services are included with our installed price, without all the hidden charges that many stores add.

"Thinking about new flooring? Think about Young Brothers for the job!!! I just purchased Luxury Vinyl flooring from Young Brothers, and they did a wonderful job on the installation. I wanted to remove the old tile so that I could have an even transition from kitchen to dining room. It was a big job to take out all the old plywood. They did a good job of keeping the dust to a minimum. They cleaned up after themselves on each of the 5 days. I am pleased with the flooring and installation. I would highly recommend Young Brothers. I have other floors that could be updated, and I would absolutely use them again. They had a lot of choices in flooring, make, and colors. I went with something that looked like wood and would match the wooden floors I had in the dining room."

"The initial consultation was fine, but after the work had begun it became a very stressful experience. During the consultation I understood the new floor boards at the end of my hallway would be installed the same direction as the existing floor boards (see pictures). When I showed up after installation had begun the new boards at the end of the hall were going the opposite direction of the existing boards. When I called Ron Doran about it he explained the floor joists in that part of the house were going the opposite direction and the floor boards have to lay across the joists. I asked him if there was anything we could do and he said no, I asked if we could add boards between the joists to add support so that at least the last 6 feet of the hall could be the same direction of existing floor and he said no, so I asked if I could sign a waiver and he said no and then gave me an ultimatum, if I continued to ask him to do this then he would walk away from the job. (Mind you this was all during two phone conversation in about an hours time). Throughout this conversation he was impatient and ultimately raised his voice at me and got extremely defensive. It was incredibly unprofessional. He never informed me that the floor would be installed this way and if he didn’t know initially when he found out he should have let me know (we were in daily communication via text or phone through the whole installation). Once the job was complete we waited a week before moving into our new house and I did call him 5 days after the job was done to ask if we could use pine sol on the floor and he replied promptly which I appreciated. But then once we moved in and examined the floors we found multiple issues; there was floor stain spilled down our basement steps, three rings of spilled stain on the basement floor, a piece of baseboard molding missing in one bedroom, uneven sanding/staining on floors, and several gouges and holes that weren’t properly filled in. Overall I am not 100% satisfied with the work and I’m certainly not satisfied with the interactions I had with Don Doran. I was nothing but polite and respectful to him and I even helped him unload the oak wood planks when he arrived by himself to drop them off (I have a flight of stairs getting into the house), so I saw no reason why he was so impatient and rude to me when I had questions and concerns. I will not be working with this company in the future."

***Call Jack at 412-771-2118 or 412-310-2405 to schedule service. PLEASE CALL! DO NOT TEXT OR EMAIL I WILL NOT GET IT.*** Serving the Pittsburgh area for 25 years. Owner Operator. 2 Employees. Uses subs for plumbing and electrical work. Cost determined by the job. No travel charges

"Jack stripped and restained the hardwood floors in a bedroom that had been covered in carpet for years. He also pulled up tile flooring in front of the fireplace in the room and replaced it with hardwood; it was a beautiful design and blended in nicely with the old flooring around it. Lastly, he installed quarter round around the perimeter of the room. Jack is very thorough in explaining his plan and process ahead of time and in laying out your options and providing input on the choices. He returns calls in a timely manner, was able to schedule a time to do the work quickly, and finished the project efficiently. The room looks great! We are looking forward to having him do another room for us soon."

I believe in honesty is the best warranty, policy, and communicational skill I can offer someone. I take pride in my work. I offer quality installations for quality prices . I do not refinish floors . I do not touch asbestos. I do have an measuring/inspection fee.

"Anthony is great. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He did an outstanding job in our LVP install. The final product looks great and he charges a very reasonable price!"

NATURE STONE is the largest stone and epoxy flooring company in the United States. Founded in 1989, NATURE STONE engineered a specially formulated, patent-pending, propriety epoxy resin made especially for use in stone and epoxy flooring. This special epoxy is what gives NATURE STONE flooring its beauty, durability and long-lasting qualities. No other stone and epoxy flooring company can compare in quality to authentic Nature Stone flooring.

"Signed a contract back on April 2, 2025. They were supposed to be out on Wednesday, May 21. They called me two hours before they were supposed to be here to cancel because of the chance of rain. We had zero rain here from 7:45 AM all the way to 3:30 PM. I wasted a vacation day as well. Contacted my salesman. He tells me he will get back to me. Here we are two days later and still no idea when the appointment is supposed to happen. Communication is poor at best. Amazing that a company that's been in business this long plays games like this."

FAQs for flooring projects in Bridgeville, PA

The cost of flooring installation is $3,000 for the average homeowner. This cost can range from $1,500 to $4,500, depending on the project size, flooring material, and any special features. For example, if stairs need new flooring, you can expect to pay about $11 to $160 per step. Additionally, hardwood flooring costs significantly more than linoleum, with hardwood ranging from $6 to $22 per square foot and linoleum costing $3 to $7 per square foot.

Believe it or not, adding new flooring—especially floors like hardwood, laminate, tile, or vinyl—can add significant value to your home. If you update your flooring close to when you sell your home, you can see up to a 70% ROI on your new floors. Adding new flooring to your home is one of the quickest ways to make the whole room look refreshed and new, which is a positive point for selling.

While you certainly can install new flooring yourself, it may not always be the best idea. Since the condition of the floors is a significant component of your property’s value, it’s important that your project looks professionally done. If not, you run the risk of needing to have them replaced again before selling your home. If you’re looking to save money on the cost of floor installation, consider removing the old flooring yourself to save on labor costs.

When it comes to flooring installers, licensing laws vary from state to state. Even if your state doesn’t require your flooring installer to have a license, your municipality or city might, so it’s a good idea to check with your town before getting started. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local general contractor guidelines.

Hiring an unlicensed flooring installer could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

It takes about one to three days for a two-person crew to lay 800 to 1,000 square feet of flooring daily. Remember that removal of existing flooring and additional prep work is considered during this time, and it’s likely that you won’t be able to pass through the room easily. In addition, you can expect lots of hammering and other noise from power tools during installation, so it’s best to plan accordingly.
