Customers say: Quick response

"John and his brother and nephew did a full rebuild of our box gutters, replacing the gutter with new copper and fixing a large amount of rotted wood. They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish - great communication of the process and extremely conscientious during the work and in cleaning up."

"I had a problem with my roof gutter overflowing in heavy rain. The gutter was recently installed by someone else and that roofer was non responsive. I put out a call for bids and the owner of Royal Fox Roofing contacted me quickly (same morning as I asked them for a bid). He quoted me a great price to come and repair the roof/gutter after we discussed the issue. A member of his team arrived around noon, diagnosed the problem and made a repair to the improperly installed roof shingles and gutter where the overflow was occurring. Same day service is rare and nice to have, especially for a roof problem. Many thanks to Royal Fox!"

"Jim and his crew did a great job putting a top coat of asphalt on the driveway, spearing the cost of having it replaced altogether. Then they came back a few months later to do the sealing work. Jim was easy to work with, promptly responding to all questions and the overall cost was very reasonable. I would definitely use his services again."

Their punctuality and responsibility truly stood out from the beginning to the end. They completed the work the same day, which exceeded my expectations. I was very impressed with the quality of their work and their professionalism. I will not hesitate to hire them again for future projects. I am also sharing some photos of the completed project so others can see the excellent results and quality of their workmanship. This company is excellent, and I highly recommend them 100% to anyone looking for a roof or siding replacement, or any type of repairs. Gutter Repair and Replacement questions, answered by experts

No—gutters should be designed and properly installed so they are ready to handle any level of rainflow from your roof. If you notice pooling water around your gutters or on the roof, it’s imperative that you contact a gutter repair pro near you—the slope of your gutters could be off and need adjusting.

Yes, many homeowners find that seamless gutters are worth the investment. Although they have a higher upfront cost than standard gutters—an average of $2,700 compared to $2,000—their benefits often outweigh the price difference. Seamless gutters last longer, require less maintenance, and are less prone to clogs and leaks due to having fewer seams. In contrast, standard gutters typically have seams every 10 feet, which can leak and require new sealant every one to five years. Additionally, seamless gutters are considered more aesthetically pleasing, come in a variety of colors to match your home, and can improve your home's curb appeal and potential value.

If you don't want to install gutter guards, the most common and inexpensive alternative is regular gutter cleaning, either annually, biannually, or as soon as they start to fill up. Using a leaf blower attachment can make this process easier. Other products designed to reduce cleanings include gutter screens (made of wire mesh, nylon, or foam), which are typically less expensive than a full gutter guard installation. You can also find guards and inserts designed specifically to protect your downspouts or opt for a whole gutter system like LeafGuard, which integrates the gutter and guard into a single product.

It’s technically possible to remove some soffit material without removing your gutters, but it’s usually a good idea to remove gutters, fascia, and soffit and then reinstall them in the opposite order. Replacing soffits without removing gutters is likely to leave you with a less professional and clean appearance, and you’re more likely to do damage to your gutters and fascia boards in the process.

When it comes to which gutter material is better, the choice really boils down to what you're looking for in a gutter system. If saving money is the most important factor, then your best option is to go for aluminum gutters. If longevity and durability are more important to you, then copper gutters could be the best fit. If you want to customize the color of your gutters, aluminum takes the cake, but if you're looking for a more natural appearance, copper might be a better choice.
