Mr Hughart was on time, completely prepared, and work with breaks until the project was complete. His bid was far less and more reasonable. His work was professional of the highest quality. I was very pleased with the treated wood used an his explanation of how to maintain the surface. To summarize, the project exceeded my expectations and would recommend Mr Hughart for household projects. I definitely will be using his expertise in future projects. DJ was professional and polite from start to finish. The morning I was looking for a job to be done he came and looked at it and gave me a quote. He gave me the time frame he could have the job done and he stuck to his word. His work is meticulous. He cleaned everything up when he was done and left nothing behind. I have already given his number out to a couple people. It's very hard to find somebody as hard working and professional as this person. He gets five stars all the way around. I needed boards replaced on my deck.

Darrell did a lovely new set of front porch stairs for us. He ordered the materials, brought everything to our house, and cleaned up when he was done. He was very kind and easy to work with as well!

When your list of inside and outside projects keep going and you do not know who to call, we recommend DJ the handyman. We only knew from Angi that he had a five star rating and has been vetted by the company. I contacted Darrel (owner) and gave him all the details about the list of the projects. Darrel came over and knocked out each project one at a time all within three hours. Each item was completed to our satisfaction, he had expertise ranging from plumbing, painting, plaster, wood work, and electrical. He cleaned up after each item, and was very fair with the cost. Now that we know Darrel and all his areas of expertise, we have already started a new list of more inside and outside projects. The flashing on my chimney needed to be reflashed because it was causing water problems. I've had zero problems since and the work was done in a single afternoon.

Having a kitchen remodel done was made easy by DJ The Handyman. He did a Great job. Kept area and tools clean and organized as he worked. The days that I had to leave for work I was at ease with him being in my home working alone. He made suggestions about what would work best for my older home but was not pushy about it. His knowledge in construction was very much welcomed and needed. I will definitely call on him again for any work I need done in future.

The job was done right and in a timely manner. Our bathroom remodel looks great.
