"Scott was my sales representative, answered all my questions responded quickly to my calls/texts. Mike and Mike Jr did the installation. They were very professional, kept everything clean, always on time. Also Mike Green and James, project managers, were also great to work with."

"I've been around construction most of my life, and I've never seen a 4-man crew work as hard as these guys did. They installed a 160 foot, 18" deep drain field on my property by hand, without the help of any machinery, in less than 8 hours. I was extremely impressed by their promptness, politeness, and professionalism. I highly recommend this business to anyone in need of a drainage contractor."

"Chris and Dan at basement Gurus were terrific to work with. My finished basement was a long term disaster with must and mildew in my walls and carpet. We no longer wanted to spend time there. I had a team of 12 guys come and do an excellent job in installing my French drain and a full perimeter pressure release system with two sump pumps. NO more water! Then Kurt came and refinished my basement so it was a complete job done through Basement Gurus. See the beautiful result below. I couldn't be happier! As a pastor, I was looking for honest men to do quality work! These guys were terrific!"

"The basement experts came in and patched up my wall around my well pump line that was leaking. I was getting water all along my front wall and two side walls when we got good rains. We’ve had several hard downpours the past few weeks since they did their work and haven’t gotten a single drop of water! Best price I found and great work. Can’t beat it thank you!"

"I am very happy with Dan, the owner's knowledge, experience, and timely service. His team was very diligent keeping things clean and restored to original. The waterproofing system works perfectly and I very pleased with the cost and quality of the installation. I would highly recommend this company, ( I got 4 other estimates before choosing them)"

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

Water leaking through your basement floor is a good sign of a clogged drain, but another sign of a clogged basement floor drain can include unpleasant odors coming from the drain. Also, hearing gurgling noises when water drains from the basement or having other plumbing fixtures (like toilets or other drains) backing up is a good indicator.

You can unclog an AC drain line for free if you already have these household ingredients: water, vinegar, and rags. Alternatively, if you’d rather not deal with the mess, you can hire a pro to clear your drain line. If you go that route, an HVAC service call costs between $100 and $250.

Preventing water accumulation involves regular inspections, maintaining effective drainage systems, ensuring proper roof maintenance, and taking preventive measures against heavy rainfall or floods.

Sometimes, the drain is just too clogged—thanks, stubborn hair and soap scum. In this case, you’ll need a more powerful drain cleaner than you can DIY safely at home. But this doesn’t mean you have to choose a traditional drain cleaner.

You can find biodegradable drain cleaners at your local home improvement store or online for those drains that need a little more oomph

While on the hunt for a formidable drain cleaner, the best options are non-chemical clog solutions that combine enzymes and bacteria.

A saturated leach field can result from various underlying issues, so it's best to call a professional septic company to diagnose and treat the problem. Depending on the cause of the saturation, potential fixes include pumping out a full septic tank, adding more bacteria to the tank, or regrading the soil to fix low spots. It may also be necessary to reroute rainwater and runoff away from the leach field using gutters, downspouts, and extenders. Once the primary issue is resolved, planting specific types of vegetation over the area can help absorb excess water. In more severe cases, you might need to install a larger septic tank or replace the leach field entirely.
