"Easy to work with. Got the job done. Estimated price quotes fairly accurate to finished cost of entire project. Awesome paint matching to original color of bathroom walls. Can’t even tell there was a large hole in the ceiling from the water leak."

"Joe was awesome and he did the job quickly. He installed 2 ceiling fans and 2 lights. I was happy because everything seemed reasonable at $273.50. However, after I paid I was emailed that I owe an extra $100. That means, just installation for these things were $94 each, which is extremely expensive. There was no extra material used. No getting rid of the old materials. No repair of anything. I will finish paying and never use the services again. Again, Joe was great, but the amount to pay is way to much for what was done."

"Josh and his crew were very punctual, professional & polite. My bathroom remodel was somewhat challenging, due to the age of our home (1893), things were handled & everything is 100% better and more accessible if any issues occur in the future."

"I had the attic of a rental property converted into two bedrooms which needed framing, hanging sheet rock, base board molding installed and handing doors. Tom was able to fit me into his schedule and complete the work with-in 2 weeks. He came back quickly fixed a few misunderstandings as to what my expectations were and it looks great. I am excited about the finished project. I would contract out with him again."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

The local climate limits pool construction and installation to a strict April through October window, as excavation remains impossible when the ground freezes. Install plumbing below the 36-inch frost line to prevent severe winter damage. Heavy spring rainfall in Allentown creates groundwater intrusion risks, requiring excellent drainage planning. Permanent structures and covers must also withstand heavy Pennsylvania snow loads to keep your property safe throughout the winter.

Helpful?

After pool construction and installation, prepare for freezing temperatures by blowing out plumbing lines and adding antifreeze. To protect your investment, install a pool cover rated for heavy snow loads. Each spring, treat the water for algae and rebalance the pH to account for Allentown municipal water minerals. Inspect the structure annually for cracks caused by Pennsylvania freeze-thaw cycles, and reapply caulking around deck joints.

Helpful?

Rushing pool construction and installation without approved permits causes severe legal and property issues. Homeowners often ignore clay-heavy soil conditions and complex underground utility networks in older Allentown neighborhoods. You must plan proper grading to prevent yard flooding during heavy spring rains. Install fencing and gate latches that strictly comply with Pennsylvania state safety codes. Always schedule professional winterization to prevent burst pipes and extensive damage.

Helpful?

After finishing pool construction and installation, schedule a final inspection to receive your certificate of occupancy. Verify that all fencing and gate latches meet Allentown safety ordinances before opening the pool. Notify your homeowner’s insurance carrier immediately to adjust your liability coverage. Regrade and stabilize the surrounding soil to comply with Pennsylvania stormwater management requirements. Hire a local professional for your first winterization to protect new plumbing.

Helpful?

Start your pool construction and installation by securing required local permits and verifying Allentown zoning setbacks. Submit site plans for approval, and contact the PA 811 system to mark utility lines before digging begins. Begin planning during late winter or early spring to secure an excavation window before the ground freezes again. Always check with your neighborhood association for any additional approval requirements.
