We have been in business in Central Oregon for 20 years, offering cleaning and restoration services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Currently, our professional team is made up of 25-35 highly skilled employees, plus a wide variety of trusted subcontractors, which enables us to take care of virtually any problem you may have in your home or business. In order to qualify to work for us, all employees must pass a drug test and a background check, giving our clients peace of mind and confidence when selecting us to perform services in their home. Our state-of-the-art facility provides a clean, safe environment to restore your personal items and home furnishings. We accept all major credit cards, and can bill your insurance company and negotiate on your behalf.

"We learned a not so nice trick that Service Master played with the completion of the work on our home that flooded. They said they needed to put a fan in the crawlspace to help with drying the wood floors from underneath the house. They reported that there was NO water noticed in the subfloor on in the crawlspace. They removed the insulation under the floor to complete this fan project. Their trick is that they never planned to replace the insulation! When recently contacted they quickly stated that the flooring contractor was supposed to re-install the insulation. Not making sense - why would Service Master start a project and not finish it and better yet, not tell us the consumer that they were not finishing the project. We only found out about this problem when we were trying to sell our home and the inspector found it. When I contacted Service Master they said they would be happy to come out and give me an estimate to pay more money to finish their job. We had another licensed handyman give us and estimate and is was around $1600. For something that was never explained to us and we did not know was left uncompleted. So a warning to anyone that has a mitigation company coming to your home - if they say they want to remove the insulation under the floor - ask them who is putting it back!!"

Biohazard Remediation questions, answered by experts

DIY repairs are possible for basic issues if you have the right tools and safe handling skills. Assess the complexity before attempting repairs yourself.

No. Once you apply refinishing oil, it will continue to seep into the wood, making it difficult or impossible to refinish over top of it. Since the product contains an oil that’s meant to penetrate existing finishes, almost anything you put on top of it will bring the previous layer of stain with it. If you plan to refinish your cabinets more than once, it’s a good idea to go with the traditional method of sanding before applying a new finish to the surface.

It's common for glass stove tops to accumulate stains from food and liquid burns. Avoid using abrasive scrubbers and cleaning agents and stick to gentle cleansers. Combining a thin layer of dish soap with a vinegar spritz can break down charred residue without damaging the surface.

While refinishing your appliances can make them look fresh, you may prefer to keep their original coatings as long as possible. The best way to maintain your appliances’ appearance is to keep them clean. You can do this by:

  • Wiping up messes and spills on appliances as soon as possible.

  • Avoid using harsh cleaners or abrasive cleaning tools.

  • Handling objects with care near appliances to avoid scratching or denting them.

If you have decided that hiring a professional to refinish your floors will be faster and more satisfactory, you can expect to pay between $1,000 and $2,500. To get a better idea of what your hardwood refinishing project will cost with a professional, multiply the project’s square footage by the average price of $4 per square foot.
