I was supposed to have concrete, polished floors on my first floor that didn't turn out and looked horrible. Bob and his crew came out and brought many samples for me to look at to Epoxy my floors. They were respectful and kind. They provided an estimate when they said they would we set a date and they showed up on time and completed on time. My floors look amazing. I am so incredibly happy with them. They are gorgeous and I wish I had known about Durf's Epoxy before we went through the concrete floor nightmare. I can't recommend them highly enough. "Got an estimate very quickly, great response time, But then the communication was inconsistent and there was confusion about if/when to start. When I called to make sure they were coming, they did not knowfor sure whether they were to do the job, anyway, they came out when originally scheduled and the work accomplished was good (not necessarily excellent but very good).
Their cleanup was virtually non existent, No drop cloth or anything else was used on the floor, they did paper over exposed beams and masked windows and doors.
It took us 4 hours to clean up the floor however (unfinished concrete) and although it was unfinished, the floor still required being clean prior to finishing.
Other thoughts:  while they were here, I asked for estimates from the owner on other aspects of this project and the owner told me they did that type of work (concrete floor) but after asking twice, the owner never gave me an estimate.
In essence while the work they did was acceptable-nearly excellent-with the communication issues and lack of cleanup I am not 100% sure whether I would hire again or not. The one additional thing in their favor is the lack of decent contractors in Salem.

"Seemed like a heck of a price to pay for a small leak in our basement wall. To the tune of $1,400.00 ! Ouch!! But they did what they said would do. Epoxy injectiion. But, They would not guarantee there work. As in come back to fix it. ?"

"Matt responded to my request quickly, and was able to come that same day. After inspecting my crawl space, he discovered I had a long-standing water leak that had run into the insulation under the house, and was degrading the foundation. He fixed the leak; removed and hauled away the soaked insulation; installed new insulation; reinforced the foundation where it had started to crunble; ran a French drain away from the foundation in case of future leaks; and treated mold on the floor joists. Matt is very good at what he does, reasonably priced and easy to work with. I would highly recomend him."
