"They did a good job on our installation of a security camera system. What they did very, very badly was create a quote that was way lower than what it actually ended up costing. Beware of this if you are considering using them! They will cover themselves by saying it?s a ?rough estimate? in order to capture your business?but in our experience, they certainly knew how far they were driving (Clackamas to Hillsboro)..yet the travel costs were roughly triple what was quoted. The original estimate to install a camera system that cost $1,500 was $1,850. I was a little shocked at the estimate..but it ended up being similar to the other quote that I received. The actual invoice came in a little over $2800! No warning that it was going to be way over..and they had an answer for everything?kinda like they?d done this before. Again, the work was good, but there is now way I?d ever use this outfit again or recommend them to anyone I know!"

About Telephone Surplus International, LLC Telephone Surplus International, LLC has been in business since 1983. Our goal is to assist you and your company to fulfill your telephone system needs. We sell new, and like new telephone systems at competitive market prices. We also purchase used telephones and telephone systems against fair market value. Since our inception, it has been the goal of TSI to establish the most positive relationship as possible with our customer. We continuously strive to reach this goal by listening to our customer's needs and requests for products and services. At TSI we ensure the highest quality control on any brand that we carry. From the time our company purchases the equipment our quality discrimination has already begun. All the way throughout the testing, rebuilding, plastic buffing, repainting, and of course packaging. TSI will meet or exceed all of the leading, reputable, secondary market companies for product appearance and functionality. Keeping all these goals and commitments in mind, at TSI it is our utmost desire to keep our prices as low as possible, and at the same time, still be true to ourselves, and our valued customers. We have become the leader in our market by paying more for better equipment and selling these better systems, phones, and parts for less. Adding a website to our company and focusing a portion of our attention on the Internet has only made our organization more competitive. We are now able to bring our business model to more of the population at large. In short, we were here yesterday, we are here today and we could not be more positive about tomorrow. If you or someone you know is thinking about buying or selling a telephone system, remember at TSI, Buy (or Sell) with Confidence!

Landline Phone Service questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can add a business line to your personal phone service. Adding more lines is a common choice and you should consider how many lines you need when first choosing your service. However, it’s common for home businesses or small offices to only need one line, especially when starting out.

Types of networks include wired Ethernet for stability, wireless networks for convenience, and powerline networks that use a home's electrical wiring for data transfer. Choose based on your specific internet usage needs.

While homeowners can make basic repairs with the right tools and knowledge, professional assistance is advisable for complex installations to ensure proper functionality.

After paying a contractor to install wires extending from the nearest phone pole, you can contact your local service provider to connect your service for a fee. Connecting to landline service costs about $20 to $270 upfront, and then you’ll spend anywhere from around $15 to $60 per month for this utility.

Professional installation or repair of phone wiring includes running cables, connecting jacks, and ensuring proper integration with existing communication systems.
