"Just wow! Our ducts were in a horrible state, probably never been cleaned and partially buried under the dirt in our crawlspace. There were massive leaks and even in our dinky house the air flow could hardly be felt out of the vents, and what did come out was filled with dust and who knows what else considering the varmint problems we've experienced in the past. The team came out on a Saturday which is huge so I didn't have to take time off of work, and a job that seemed to me to be pretty big only took 3 guys 2 hours start to finish!! The air current coming out now is so strong that our curtains move- something I have not witnessed in our home in 6 years; and the temperature in our back rooms are within a degree of the main living space now instead of being a freezer. I cant wait to start saving money on our heating and cooling bills while also being comfortable in our home, and I also look forward to not having to dust everything multiple times a week and suffering from less dust allergies. I am so grateful for the fast and great work Jesus and his team accomplished for us and it was surprisingly affordable. Thank you!!!"

"Fantastic! I needed to have a P-trap installed under my bathroom sink and have the toilet reset; the contractors I had hired did not complete the work. After getting stood up and no return calls from the contractor, I decided to cut my loss. I was under a time crunch because I had sold my home, and the buyers were taking possession of the home within two days. I called approximately 10 plumbing companies, and they were all booked out anywhere from 1 week to several weeks. I called D&F Plumbing, spoke with Amy, and explained my dilemma. Amy is awesome and got a plumber out to my home the same day. Joe Hammers greeted me with a big smile and put me at ease. I found it remarkable considering the weather was in the mid-'90s, and I do not have air conditioning in the home. Joe is very personable, knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed the problem. He explained to me what I needed, as I had never heard of a P-Trap. He repaired the pipe under the bathroom sink and explained my options regarding the toilet, which is almost 60 years old. I am very appreciative and fortunate to have found D and F Plumbing after getting burned in the past by a plumbing company and a contractor. The price was very reasonable. I am thrilled that Dand F Plumbing is an honest, reputable, customer service-oriented business. They are at the top of an exceptional company. Since I can do most of my services remotely with you over the phone, I am hoping to eventually open up to larger markets and help people from having to take their computer in to get it fixed, if it has internet access, I can usually fix it over the Internet. Just trying to do more to help my Angies List customers!!******** I am a sole proprietor that works out of my home. I am my only employee, but I have over 20 years experience fixing computers, and providing superior customer service. I work on a flat rate service, and don't charge by the hour because I feel it's important to educate the customer on what the issue is/was, and how to avoid it in the future. I feel that local service companies (my competition) have been overcharging customers for years. I offer a first time customer discount of 10% but I will offer 15% off for first time customers referred by Angies List. I've lived in the Huntsville area most all my life, so I know the area very well. I will never use a subcontractor as I am very picky about making sure that if my name and company is associated with something, it will be the best experience my customer has ever had, and using sub contractors won't ensure that, so I prefer to do all the work myself. Lastly, I should point out that I am a former offensive lineman for the University of Southern Mississippi and was Brett Favre's center his freshman year at Southern. I went on to play for Tom Landry in his last year, but gave up pro football early on to pursue my passion of fixing computers. If I didn't have bills to pay, I would do this for free because I love it! If you have a computer problem, I promise you that you couldn't find a better technician that will care about you as a customer, and not about the bottom line. I am always available, but don't always answer my phone, but if you leave a message, I promise to back with you as soon as possible...and figure out how to get your issue resolved in a quick, efficient and economical manner. "They were responsive and did an energy survey, which not all of firms did. I asked for advice between heat pump and air conditioning and they were thorough in response. The only negative is the salesman told me I needed an electrical outlet which I didn't and I am not sure if it was included in his charge for the service. Installation was timely and professional."

"What I didn't like, I hadn't had any other problem in my house until I had an air conditioning problem.  While, they did take care of fixing most of the stuff with the air conditioning.  I did have to pay for the coolant that went into it, that was kind of aggravating, since you  know you are already going to pay a $60-$80 service charge for something and the you turn around and think you are covered and find out there are gaps of coverage.  We'll fix the part and pay for the labor but everything else is on you.  I think outside of price all the categories are an "A".  For price I'd give it a "C", because it's not like you are getting complete coverage.  I'd use them again if I needed to, I'd definitely consider it."
