"Miss Beckham is very thorough. She’s very energetic. She does a very meticulous cleaning job at my house. She was a wonderful person. She got down to business and I can’t believe how beautiful my house looks. I will hire her again."

"Blacktail Springs Cleaning did a fantastic job. Kylie was very nice and polite and most importantly, thorough in her entire process of cleaning my home. She is very detailed and cleaned spots I would have not thought to get to. I will continue using her when we need another cleaning done, I?ve never been more pleased with a house cleaning!"

"I cant speak highly enough about Dillards roofing and construction. Dale and the team were absolutely perfect to work with. They showed up and did exactly what they said they would..and MORE. even cleaned out our gutters and re roofed our pump house which was never asked. I've delt with a lot of contractors over the last few years and this was the best experience I've had. When the owner of the company is on the roof working with the team you know it's getting done right and no corners being cut. If we ever need a new roof I know who to call and who to recommend. Also the price was very fair and pur house looks great. Thank you guys so much!"

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

No, cleaning dog poop off artificial grass is straightforward. First, you’ll remove all the solid poop and place it in a bag. Then, you’ll use a homemade liquid dish soap and water solution to help wash and sanitize the area. Finally, you’ll hose the area with water to remove the soapy solution and odor.

Yes, you can use household cleaners on silicone caulk, but opt for mild, non-abrasive cleaners. Solutions like vinegar and water are effective for tackling mold and dirt. Avoid cleaners containing ammonia or harsh chemicals because they can damage the caulk. Always test a small area first to ensure the cleaner doesn’t cause any adverse effects.

The average house cleaner cost is around $180, which should cover about four hours of work. However, each project is different and costs can range from $100 to $1,000, depending on the house size and the cleaning needed. Other cost factors can include your location and what level of cleaning you want. Standard or basic cleaning may include vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting the kitchen and bathrooms. Deep cleaning costs about twice as much and often includes cleaning behind and underneath furniture, washing windows, and polishing hard-to-clean surfaces. Emergency cleaning, extreme cleaning, and holidays also impact pricing. Move-in and move-out cleaning typically cost more, too, because of the extensive, whole-house cleaning involved.

Plan on deep cleaning the garbage disposal weekly with a maintenance run of ice cubes and lemon peels. Make it a regular part of your kitchen cleaning checklist.

If you don’t want to remove the sink stopper, pour ½ cup of baking soda and 2 cups of boiling water down the drain. Start by pouring 1 cup of boiling water, then the baking soda, followed by the remaining cup of boiling water. Use caution as boiling water can damage PVC or other plastic piping. Using a scrub brush or slightly abrasive sponge, clean the top of the stopper, and run the faucet to ensure the drain is clear and the stopper is clean.
