"Francisco cleaned my house after construction that left a layer of fine cement dust on everything I owned. They thoroughly wiped down every surface and used cloths to wipe down all of my belongings including boxes, clothes, shoes and all sorts of equipment. They handled everything with care and were extremely professional and friendly. Highly recommend!"

"I had the skirting around my large deck redone last week. Chris and his son Christian were extremely talented and they worked very hard to accomplish this difficult task. They were very reasonable and I will keep their information in my file for future projects. I was very lucky to find them and really appreciate honest and skilled contractors."

"Martin does work the right way the first time! He listens carefully and confirms with you to understand exactly what you want done. He left my gutters and my yard spotless, arrived on time and did the work perfectly. My neighbor and then my brother in law were so impressed, they hired him as well!"

Floor Cleaning and Waxing questions, answered by experts

Wood floors should be polished every two to four months to maintain a shine and to keep them protected from daily wear and tear. More frequent maintenance includes dry mopping the floors daily and cleaning spills immediately, using a spray mop and cleaner weekly to remove any built up dirt or grime, and sanding and refinishing the floors every three to five years.

Using too much soap or floor cleaner can leave your laminate floors looking dirty or cloudy after mopping. Only use a teaspoon of soap or cleaning solution in a gallon of water. Additionally, always be sure to sweep or vacuum laminate floors before mopping to ensure you pick up dried grit, hair, and dust that can be harder to catch with a wet mop.

Yes, you can mop hardwood floors with a damp flat or string mop as long as it is not soaking wet. Always avoid leaving standing water or fully soaking your hardwood floors, even if they are properly finished. A slightly wet mop, with or without cleaning solutions, will not damage the wood.

Commonly used in garages, epoxy is a synthetic resin coating that goes over the top of concrete surfaces. If you’re deciding between polished concrete and epoxy flooring, the best choice depends on your needs and personal preference. Epoxy is durable and highly customizable, while polished concrete tends to require less maintenance. They’re both long-lasting with similar price points, and professional installation is recommended for each.

Most DIY floor cleaners don’t require rinsing, but you’ll want to make sure you don’t add too much dish soap or oil to the cleaner to avoid having to rinse it after cleaning. For non-wood floors, mix 8 parts warm water, 1 part vinegar, and 1 part baking soda with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, use olive oil in that same mixture instead of the vinegar. You can let these solutions air-dry after cleaning your floors with them, although you should manually dry your floors if they aren’t waterproof.
