"Sergio came the next day I called to give me a quote and was able to fit me into his schedule the next week. We had 3 huge pines come down an made 3 giant piles My husband , son, an another man cut up trees and limbs and made 3 gigantic piles of limbs ect. I was afraid my husband was going to try burning the piles during burning season along with taking the neighborhood with them so decided to search for someone to haul them off an clean up. Sergio his brother and a friend worked SO HARD but was able to get it all into a couple trailers and a pickup and took away in a day an one half. The price was well worth all the clean up and getting rid of all the limbs ect. I felt so relieved after and impressed on how clean they left my property. I highly recommend them. THANK YOU SERGIO , HIS BROTHER AND FRIEND. A VERY NICE AND HARD WORKING POLITE GROUP OF GENTLEMEN. Ps it took made 4 hours total. They worked hard non stop each day. Worked several hours one day an came back next day to fin"

"I had big plans for my back yard and initially thought I could do most of the work myself, despite not being a fan of yard work. I wanted a new patio with walkway around the house, to remove most of my lawn and replace it with other plantings, and eventually get a cover for my deck. Well, after a couple years of chipping away at it, and then a pandemic, I decided it was finally time to just hire professionals. In May I met with Phil from GrassRoots to go over my current yard and my vision of what I was looking to do, he offered many great suggestions (including using stamped concrete instead of paver stones for the patio and path). We went back and forth over the design details, taking our time to get things right (after all, I was in no hurry). He let me know that the work would be done in phases, each time squeezing between their other jobs. He hands me off to Tim who oversaw the work. Starting in mid-October the demo team cleared out the existing lawn to prep in the first day. A week later the team came out and spent two days laying the gravel base and installing the retaining walls for the concrete pour. Two weeks later the concrete team poured and stamped the concrete, and then removed the retaining walls a couple days after that. At that point the softscape team showed up and blew in the dirt, installed the new sod, and got really excited showing me the plantings they picked out as they placed them in their pots around the yard to get my okay with where they had arranged everything. A few days later the carpenters showed up to install the new deck cover, which looks absolutely stunning! After the first rain, I noticed that the runoff from the deck cover was splattering the fresh bark they had installed, so they came out and added some decorative gravel there to catch the rain. All in all, it was a fantastic experience and I'm so glad I finally decided to go with the professionals on this project. I'm looking forward to the spring when everything starts to grow, and in a few years when the bushes fill in."

FAQs for rototilling projects in Cheshire, OR
The average cost to have rototilling done on your property is around $250, and most homeowners pay between $100 and $350. The total for your rototilling project will depend on the area you need tilled, the quality of the soil, how many roots and shrubs are in the area, and the accessibility of the area. Anything that increases the time to till your soil—like hard clay soil, small entrances to the area that require the use of smaller tools, and roots running through the ground—will all increase your costs.
Yes, rototilling has many benefits. Rototilling is a great way to aerate the soil in your garden, introduce fertilizer, and remove weeds from your soil to prep it for planting, so it is very often a worthwhile expense. You can get by without rototilling if you’re willing to use manual tools, but the work will take much longer and is very labor-intensive. If you’re looking to prepare your garden for planting or your soil for new grass growth, rototilling is relatively inexpensive and almost always worth the money.
Yes, you can rent a rototiller for around $60 per day and do the work yourself, but it’s not recommended. Tilling is more of an art than a science, as tilling too deep can be detrimental to your soil structure and the organic matter that is beneficial to plants and shrubs, and tilling too shallow won’t properly introduce fertilizer or break up the soil for rooting plants. Additionally, tillers are powerful machines with sharp blades to cut through small roots and soil, so they are inherently dangerous to use. It’s usually worth it to hire a professional rototiller.
