During his estimate, he reported that the water damage to the floor was probably coming from the subfloor and should be addressed prior to his repair. He was spot on. Water that leaked from exterior French Doors had rotted a considerable area of the subfloor. His suggestion saved me time, because I was able to replace the subfloor and doors prior to his efforts.
