"Zack was the only window cleaner who even returned my call. He was on time and completed the job in record time. He not only cleaned my windows but the screens and my back door. And charged a fair price. Very personable."

Small jobs welcome

"I wasnâ t sure what to expect or how thoroughly my house would be cleaned and actually I thought that I did a pretty good job of cleaning it myself well that was not the case because I honestly didnâ t know my house could look and smell this good!! Things I thought were clean really were not and just because I personally would have my house smelling like bleach it didnâ t mean It was clean and germ free. Given COVID and the fact that I have a small child who doesnâ t always wash his hands before putting them all over the place this was something I felt was absolutely worth every penny!!! I never knew the true meaning of clean until I had outside help and I will no question have Messy Maids - Shannon come back again. You really canâ t put a price on something as important as piece of mind that it will be treated as if it were her home or her family living in it!!"

"Very positive experience. Derek (not Derrick) is a contractor who started his own business a few years ago. He now owns a landscaping business as well and has 9 employees. So I was surprised that he wanted to take on my small job of cleaning a dryer duct. He is very personable, did a great job and cleaned up afterwards. If you need this type of service, I recommend him highly."

"They did a real good job. They were real professional. We can now open the garage door from the inside of the house and now it is so smooth that we have to check to see if we hit the button to open it or close it.  Before we used to know when it was opening or closing because it used to make a noise. It helps when you move to a city where you are new. "

Window Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Use of harnesses and ladders ensures safe roof access.

Unless it’s written into the purchase agreement, there’s no legal obligation that a house you’ve bought has to be clean before you move in. The previous owner is generally required to sweep the house, but that doesn’t guarantee everything will be spotless upon your arrival. If possible, discuss the cleaning requirements with the real estate company before moving in.

Getting a streak-free shine after cleaning your windows requires both the right cleaning solutions—which can either include warm water and dish soap or warm water and rubbing alcohol—and the right tools—namely, a squeegee and a microfiber cloth. To make your streak-free glass cleaner, combine one gallon of warm water with a few drops of dish soap, and mix. Apply with a sprayer or sponge, and then dry with a squeegee, microfiber cloth, or old black-and-white newspaper pages.

Professional house cleaners may use a variety of cleaning products, but a great option is a cleaning solution containing ammonia or white vinegar, water, and several tablespoons of dishwashing liquid.

Hard water stains are caused by hard water. Hard water contains a lot of minerals, like calcium and magnesium. When water on your glass surfaces dries out, the minerals stay behind and stick to the glass. This results in a residue that looks like white cloudy or streaky spots. Call a pro to install a water softener to banish hard water problems.
