"We had a series of problems but the final straw is the brand new front door to our studio hanging off the hinges after less than a year and the owner will not stand behind his work. We have opened a complaint with the BBB and we had to hire another contractor of Angi to fix their incompetent hung door installation."

"Thomas did some landscaping in the back of my house. It sits on a steep hill, so I thought it might be a challenge. Thomas did an amazing job! He cleared out all the weeds and debris from the hill, and built two strong garden boxes into the hillside. They act as retaining walls, and will give us a perfect opportunity to do some vegetable gardening. He also built a corner walkway on the hillside, so I can now walk around the house without falling down the hill. Thomas and his crew were hardworking and courteous throughout, and cleaned up as if they were never there. The price for the work was the lowest I found, and I've already talked to Thomas about doing some seasonal work in Spring."

Greenhouses and Nurseries questions, answered by experts

Yes, proper grounding rods and conductors are essential for an effective system.

In most cases, you can attach a greenhouse to any type of house. However, certain factors need to be considered, such as the structural integrity of the house, available space, and local building regulations. You should consult with a professional contractor or architect to assess the feasibility and ensure proper construction methods.

The choice is really yours. Greenhouses available in kits can make the job go quicker. You can find greenhouse kits to match your style and size needs. If you enjoy designing and planning, you can build your own from materials of your choosing. Just be sure to do your research beforehand so everything ends up structurally sound.

Increases living space and adds value to the home through enhanced utility.

The only real drawback to green building is that it’s more expensive up front, with per-square-foot prices sitting 33% higher than what you’d pay to build a traditional home. The higher cost is due to more expensive building materials and more labor to ensure every aspect of the home is as efficient as possible. However, green buildings often save money in the long run, so this is just a temporary downside.
