"I highly recommend this company! Very professional, honest, and hardworking crew. Everything was clean and well organized, and the job was done right the first time. My shower turned out beautiful?I couldn?t have asked for more. He even offered great ideas on design, color, and tile choices that really elevated the final look. Very easy to work with and a great overall experience. (My whole bathroom was redone by this company went from an ugly tub to this.)"

"Flooring guys rebuilt my joist and resurfaced my floor then tiled it. I didn't have enough tile I had already purchased and the guys found tile for me and finished the job. I was very impressed with their work."

Customers say: Quick response

"We called Ray because a neighbor had recommended him, to see if he could help us out on our bathroom remodel. Originally thinking he would just help us with tiling. He very quickly saw we really needed much more than that, and helped us get to the finish line so quickly. He hooked us up with a granite fabricator (James/Take it for Granite) and a shower door source (Glass Solutions in Edmond) and brought in his helper Rex and made my dream bathroom a reality. He turned the ugliest room in our home into the most beautiful one! I highly recommend all of the people and their businesses, especially Ray. Looking forward to working with him on our next project! Outstanding workmanship and all around nice guy."

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

The lifespan of bathroom tile can be 50 years or more, depending on proper installation and regular maintenance. A well-done tile job, whether it's a new installation or a retiling project, can last for many decades. To lengthen the life of your tile, it's best to have it installed by a professional and to perform regular maintenance. This includes routine cleaning, resealing, and regrouting as needed. With proper care, you can expect your tile to last 10 years or more before needing major repairs or retiling, especially in high-traffic areas where tiles can wear out more quickly.

The number of shower niches you need (or want) depends on the size of the shower and how many bathroom products you plan on storing. If you keep it simple with just soap and shampoo, the one shower niche will probably do the trick. But if you’re adding scrubs and soaks, you may need to think about installing two or more.

The rule tells you how to cut tile to install it in a corner. The 3/4/5 rule recommends that you should have 3 feet across on one straight line, four feet on the other perpendicular line, and 5 feet of length from the end of one of the lines to the other. You’re making a right triangle with the tile, and the hypotenuse (the line across from where the 3-foot lie and 4-foot line meet) should be 5 feet long.

Grout and caulk are commonly used together, especially in bathrooms. Grout goes between the tiles and keeps them sturdy and in place on the walls or floor. Caulk goes in corners or where two different materials meet (like where the bathtub meets the tile) to create a waterproof seal. However, they are not interchangeable—you shouldn't use caulk to adhere tile and shouldn’t use mortar if you need a waterproof seal.

The underlayment determines a ceramic tile’s sturdiness, and a cement board or backer board works best. Be sure to tape the joints when using these materials, and consider laying it on top of a layer of thin-set for more stability.
