"We were very pleased! They were very easy to work with, very pleasant. As a matter of fact, I still see the first guy I had contact with and he still says hi to me when he sees me. They had the siding on in two days and did the windows about a month alter. It only took them one day to put the windows in. One of the windows was shipped incorrectly and they made everything right, they were wonderful! They double checked every single question we had. They are GREAT! The manager, Pat, is a pleasure. He came out on the last night to inspect the work. No complaints about them. They were honest about their pricing and that we could find someone cheaper but that they do the best work, they were right. The workers were so much fun. I would use them again in a heart beat!"

"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"Had three contractors bid the job, chose AIR Roofing above the others. I was very satisfied with the quality of the materials used, the installation crews attention to detail, the price, responsiveness and overall quality of the job."

"I gave a 3 star rating after careful consideration. There is siding and guttering on my house, so there was some work done on my home. Please note that 3 out of 5 is equal to 60%, which is just shy of a failing grade. I spent $38,500 for the work done on my home. I wanted so badly to have a good experience and be happy with the quality of work. Unfortunately, that was not at all what I received. I made a $5,000 down payment in November 2019. Work was to begin at the end of January 2020. Owner, Lewis Gonzalez, kept putting me off and the work did not actually begin until June 2020. I am a pharmacist and was dealing with the early phase of the COVID pandemic, so I was somewhat distracted during this time. I definitely wish I would have ended the business relationship during the 5 month delay, but hindsight is always 20/20. Lewis had two young men that he called "the Russian guys" working on my project. Much of their work was questionable at best. These gentlemen ripped the dryer ventilation duct apart while removing the exterior vent, covered up rotted wood that I had specifically pointed out to be removed and replaced, screwed siding trim into styrofoam backing, etc. I could go on, but I have pictures of the work that will better detail the situations. Then, during the second week of work, Lewis informed that "the Russian guys" were going on vacation and would not be finishing the work on my home. Lewis and some of his other workers finished the job. I had two garages doors that were to be removed so that an exterior wall could be built to enclose the garage. A double door was also to be installed as part of the wall. Daylight can be seen from inside the garage where there is an open gap. Standing outside the garage, you can see areas of unprotected plywood, used to construct the wall, behind the siding. I recently learned that the plywood is not nailed into the 2x4 framing, so the exterior wall is actually bowed out. Inside the garage, the 2x4 framing does not meet in the corners where it was erected. The guttering has been another catastrophe. Work was "completed" the week after 4th of July weekend in 2020. The following week I saw where the gutter opening dumped water on a junction between the shingles and fascia of another part of the roof. I sent Lewis a video on 7/13/2020 of the situation. He told me multiple times in the intervening months that it would be corrected. It is still not corrected. It is a strange coincidence that the roof failed at this very location and has caused water damage to the ceiling in the interior garage. I could go on and on about the frustrations and disappointments of this past year since the work began, but I think photos and videos would do a much better job of conveying my feelings. I recently signed up for Facebook again so I could get these pictures and videos online. I thought I was finished with social media in 2011 when I closed my Facebook account, but here I am again. "Right Choice Roofing was recommended to us by a close friend. Billy and Paul came over within a day or so after calling to assess our roof. After confirming our roof was totaled, they walked us through the process with our insurance... a big load off of our shoulders and a seamless process! Their crew came out and worked professionally and FAST, and cleaned every last bit of debris up before leaving. The drastic improvement in the appearance of our house made all the difference and even matches better with our house paint! In fact, my husband and I were discussing repainting, but the roof ties everything in perfectly now, so we basically saved that money! Oh, and Billy was sure to match our vent pipes to our roof, something that isn't always done (no eye sore silver metal pipes taking away from our new pretty roof!). I don't have one negative thing to say about our experience with Right Choice Roofing; they are roofing wizards and I hands down recommend them! (FYI, we chose the shingle color Black Oak with Billy's assistance.)"

"Getting on their schedule was a bit of a struggle. And I was asked to provide the silicone caulking although the "deal" ad stated that materials were included. But they showed up at the agreed time and did a good job. And I am really glad to have it done !"

Siding questions, answered by experts

Composite siding, with proper care, can last 30 years and sometimes more. Because its color has a tendency to fade, you might want to re-paint it every five years or so. Before purchasing composite siding, check the manufacturer’s warranty—you should have a long-term warranty to back up the quality of the product.

Not wrapping a house before installing siding can lead to moisture intrusion, rot, mold, and even higher energy bills. Older houses may have siding installed without wrap underneath, so it’s a good idea to add a wrap layer when it comes time to replace old siding to prevent potential damage from water intrusion—local codes may even require it, so check with your municipal building authority.

How long siding takes to install depends on various factors, but averages seven to 14 days for a 1500 to 2000 square foot home. You may have a longer installation timeline if your house is large or architecturally complex, if you have underlying damage beneath the existing siding, or if the weather delays the installation process.

Choosing siding combinations that look good together comes down to finding textures and colors that complement each other. You want some contrast so that your home doesn’t look boring or too uniform, but you also want the materials to play off of each other so that each makes the other stand out. It’s a good idea to hire a siding professional to create 3D renderings for you so you can get a sense of what your home will look and feel like before you get started.

While any dark color of vinyl is likely to fade, dark red and dark brown vinyl tend to fade faster and more noticeably compared with other dark colors. White is the color least likely to fade, but it will show stains, mildew, and dirt more prominently than darker colors.
