Guaranteed Siding Windows & Guttering

I gave a 3 star rating after careful consideration. There is siding and guttering on my house, so there was some work done on my home. Please note that 3 out of 5 is equal to 60%, which is just shy of a failing grade. I spent $38,500 for the work done on my home. I wanted so badly to have a good experience and be happy with the quality of work. Unfortunately, that was not at all what I received. I made a $5,000 down payment in November 2019. Work was to begin at the end of January 2020. Owner, Lewis Gonzalez, kept putting me off and the work did not actually begin until June 2020. I am a pharmacist and was dealing with the early phase of the COVID pandemic, so I was somewhat distracted during this time. I definitely wish I would have ended the business relationship during the 5 month delay, but hindsight is always 20/20. Lewis had two young men that he called "the Russian guys" working on my project. Much of their work was questionable at best. These gentlemen ripped the dryer ventilation duct apart while removing the exterior vent, covered up rotted wood that I had specifically pointed out to be removed and replaced, screwed siding trim into styrofoam backing, etc. I could go on, but I have pictures of the work that will better detail the situations. Then, during the second week of work, Lewis informed that "the Russian guys" were going on vacation and would not be finishing the work on my home. Lewis and some of his other workers finished the job. I had two garages doors that were to be removed so that an exterior wall could be built to enclose the garage. A double door was also to be installed as part of the wall. Daylight can be seen from inside the garage where there is an open gap. Standing outside the garage, you can see areas of unprotected plywood, used to construct the wall, behind the siding. I recently learned that the plywood is not nailed into the 2x4 framing, so the exterior wall is actually bowed out. Inside the garage, the 2x4 framing does not meet in the corners where it was erected. The guttering has been another catastrophe. Work was "completed" the week after 4th of July weekend in 2020. The following week I saw where the gutter opening dumped water on a junction between the shingles and fascia of another part of the roof. I sent Lewis a video on 7/13/2020 of the situation. He told me multiple times in the intervening months that it would be corrected. It is still not corrected. It is a strange coincidence that the roof failed at this very location and has caused water damage to the ceiling in the interior garage. I could go on and on about the frustrations and disappointments of this past year since the work began, but I think photos and videos would do a much better job of conveying my feelings. I recently signed up for Facebook again so I could get these pictures and videos online. I thought I was finished with social media in 2011 when I closed my Facebook account, but here I am again. Went great, they completed the job in about half a day. Very professional. We have used them for roofing on two houses, and have referred them to lots of friends. Everybody is very happy!

Windows are great and installers very professional. They are still in the process of installing the siding.

It was the best experience that we have ever had with a remodel on our home. The guys were there when they said they would be. They cleaned their mess up and took it with them. We had LP siding done and it is beautiful! The windows look great! The over all experience has exceeded our expectations. I would suggest anyone that is doing a remodel to give this company a call.

I called several companies for an estimate to replace the windows on our 1930's home. Guaranteed Siding, Windows & Guttering was one of several that I found here on Angie's List. I called them and they set up an appointment to send a man out to look at our home.

Their salesman, Cory, was friendly, wasn't pushy or arrogant about their products or services (like some others with famous ads on the radio), and very well versed in what products they had to offer, their different features, and pricing. The salesman came by after his initial appointment and having emailed me a quote and showed me samples of the windows he recommended. He even followed up twice via text to make sure I understood everything and to see if I had anymore questions.

After much deliberation, I chose Guaranteed Siding, Windows & Guttering to do the work. Once I gave them the go ahead, one of their installers, John, came out and made a thorough set of measurements of our windows. All 30 of them! He then turned in the dimensions to the owner, and the order was placed with the manufacturer to build them to fit our house.  Once the windows arrived, the owner called and set up a date for the crew to come out and begin the installation. The men arrived on time, well prepared, and were very professional in their work.

Ours was not an easy project - removing 80-year old windows and replacing them was a daunting task, often the old windows didn't want to be removed, plus it was hot! But, John and Mike worked hard, and, by the end of the second day, they were done, and the windows look and work GREAT!

After they were finished, the owner called me personally to check on my satisfaction with their products and workmanship.

Guaranteed siding was very professional ,they came by several times during the project to make sure I didn't have an questions.  The crew that installed the siding was friendly and courteous.  The craftsmanship was as promised by the sales consultant and the crew worked very hard and cleaned up project daily.  I would recommend Guaranteed Siding and Windows.

Guaranteed Siding, Windows and Guttering is a fabulous company to work with.  From the first phone call to the finished project, they have been nothing but professional.  They installed Mitten vinyl siding in Flagstone on our home and it turned out beautifully.  Their workmanship is second to none and their pricing is very competitive.  We would recommend Guaranteed to anyone, and we look forward to working with them again in the future if the need arises.  These guys are great!

They did an excellent job. One of the windows was missing a screen, a manufacturer defect, but the contractors made sure the screen was delivered and installed. They made sure the job was complete.

I had guttering that was holding water due to a poor installation of the guttering by another company approximately 3 years ago. I called Guaranteed Guttering and they showed up to provide the estimate exactly when they stated they would arrive. Their price was fair and I did not get a competing quote. Lewis was very professional and understood the problem such that I felt comfortable with them performing the work. They showed up to do the work at the scheduled time and fixed the guttering perfectly. They went above and beyond and actually attached hangers to the roof and the guttering to ensure that it was straight. They also added a downspout where it was needed and it matched perfectly. Would not hesitate to use them and will call them for any future guttering problems. It's great to experience great customer service and prompt professionals.

We needed our old gutter's removed and new gutter's put on, as well as gutter guards. We received a number of estimates - all around the same price. Guaranteed was the company we choose based upon experience during the estimate. This was the only company that did not trash-talk the other gutter companies. They simply explained about their gutters and gutter guards.
After the old gutters were removed, they noted that the boards underneath them had not been painted by the previous owners of the house, so they called and we decided we wanted to paint them before putting up the new gutters. We took several days to paint them and Guaranteed did not rush us or pressure us for money even though they had already removed the old gutters. No money was asked for until the service was complete.
We have a drainage pipe that runs down our yard (we are on a hill) and several of our downspouts are tied into this pipe. They added other downspout that was needed in the back and tied it into the existing pipe with no additional cost even though this was not quoted. They perform excellent work and stand by their products and service. I would happily recommend them or use them again for future services.

IN A BAD STORM ALL MY GUTTERS FELL, THEY CAME TO MY RESCUE AND REPLACED ALL MY GUTTERS WITH IN THE DAY. THE PRICES WERE VERY FAIR. THEY HAD FAST AND FRIENDLY SERVICE WITH A SMILE.
