"Yes, the guys came did the estimate came back the next morning as they said they would and they are lower branches off and tried to even the tree up some because we had too many lower branches. Jacob and his two nephews were here and they were all very polite. Very nice to me and my husband. They got the job done in less than two hours and we are very happy with it and I would hire them again if I had more trees anyway great job guys. Once the tree leaves out next month, it is going to be a beautiful canopy over the yard"

"I am very particular about timing of services as products should be applied at certain times during the season to be effective. Lawn Doctor applies fertilizers and other products at the perfect times and the difference is obvious with turf that has become thicker and greener with significantly fewer weeds. The hollies and junipers are bright green with exceptional growth during spring and summer months. I have always been able to reach David Morrison if I have a question. I am an avid gardener and what impresses me most is that he understands soil science. An additional plus is that you receive a call the evening before your service so you know when people are on your property and if you have a conflict you can reschedule. The pricing is very competitive. I am extremely pleased."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

It depends on the type of tree. Typically, late spring on the cusp of winter is ideal for trees about to emerge from dormancy and produce new buds. That said, late fall is ideal for certain deciduous trees prone to bleeding sap. Avoid trimming trees in early spring, when they’re prone to disease.

Yes, you can prune a palm tree with a chainsaw, but a chainsaw is overkill for a job like this. You risk damaging the tree if you make a bad cut. More commonly, you’ll need pruning shears or a serrated knife to trim a palm tree, or you can use a specialized pruning saw instead of a chainsaw.

Generally, no, tree topping isn’t a good technique, and you should avoid using it in most cases. Tree topping may be the only good option to save a tree following severe damage after a storm, but in most other cases, it’s not the right choice. Tree topping can leave trees vulnerable to disease and further damage, and most pros will suggest against it.

Generally, homeowners do not need permission to cut down a tree on their own private property, but there are several exceptions where a permit may be required. You might need a permit if the tree is particularly large, old, or a protected species, such as a heritage tree. Trees located near public property or power lines can also be subject to special rules. Additionally, many local governments and homeowners associations (HOAs) have regulations controlling which trees can be removed to manage an area's appearance or prevent the spread of invasive species. To avoid hefty fines, it is crucial to check with your local government and HOA to determine if a permit is needed before you begin.

It enhances property aesthetics, improves tree health, and prevents safety hazards.
