www.VideoGeeks.TV has 20 years of installation experience. We installs TVs on dry wall, brick, cement, cinder block, and other surfaces that can hold the weight of a TV mount and TV. We can hide, in hollow walls, your cables and AC Power using NEC approved systems. Or just cables using low voltage wall plates. We can place conduit on the wall of solid walls as a 3rd option. We can install using your TV, your mount, your cables or bring everything with us to do your job. Cost of the job is dependent on what options you need. We are also known as iMedia. "While he was nice (no issues with personality), he arrived a half hour late, worked very slowly and took too many smoke breaks outside. He took about 3 hours to tape and prime the bathroom (which is pretty small) and after a lunch break he did re-caulk my kitchen counters. He then tried to paint the bathroom. At that time, he told me the paint was inferior and didn't adhere well so I had to go get a better paint - which I went out to do. In the mean time - he did spackle and touch up the walls where we had small blue paint tape marking where it had to be touched up. There were other spots in the house that he didn't get too though. When he finally started to repaint the bathroom with the better paint - he told me time on the coupon ran out and that he would have to come back over the weekend to finish the job (a couple of hours worth of work - up to $200). I had to decline and will paint the bathroom myself. So - overall, in the 8 hours, he did 2 of the 6 tasks on my list (granted the repaint of the bathroom required some prep work, not all tasks being equal I mean). I would have still thought the entire list was doable for a handyman in 8 hours. He must have guessed that he didn't do everything I asked and that I would leave a not great review...During the day I asked him for an estimate on painting my entire ceiling and he never got back to me on that estimate. I am sure he's capable of doing work at a fixed price (not time based). If time based, the meter will run and I believe you'll wind up spending a lot more than you expected to spend. I'm just glad my loss was limited to the price of the Angie's List coupon. Unfortunately, I'll now have to do the remainder of the work myself (which defeats the point of getting a handyman for 8 hours to bang it out!)."

Bathroom Fan Installation FAQs, answered by experts

Selection relies on matching fan size and power to attic volume and ensuring compatibility with home electrical systems and ventilation requirements.

Yes, you can run an attic fan with the AC on. In fact, you don’t have a choice with a passive attic fan. Plus, when an attic fan draws out hot air from the attic, it helps regulate the temperature of your whole home, so your AC doesn't have to work as hard.

Regularly clean fan grilles, check for dust buildup, and ensure proper venting to prevent mold growth.

Identifying the source of noises is your first step to soundproofing a room without overspending. Generally, sound comes from inside or outside of the house. Inside noises include creaking floors, living noises like TVs in the living room, cooking sounds, or kids being kids. External noises generally include incremental weather, disturbing neighbors, and street traffic. Inside noises require you to soundproof floors, ceilings, and doors, whereas outside noises may require you to soundproof your attic, windows, and walls facing the streets.

Blower fans are better for preventing mold growth than dehumidifiers because they target the damaged areas and increase the rate of evaporation, which dries out the building materials. Ideally, you should run blower fans and a dehumidifier, as this will allow the fans to move dry air over your damaged building materials, drying out the space even more quickly.
