"I live in an apartment and my property management company contracted with Superior for pest control. I and several other residents have been dealing with a cockroach infestation for several months now. During the last treatment visit, the technician was rude and unprofessional in his conduct towards me. When I said that not all the roaches were being killed (this was after two months of treatment), he lashed out and told me, "I'm trying to educate you and you're not listening." He also said that I should not expect all the roaches to be killed because he was just trying to keep them under control, not get rid of all of them. He said, "That's why it's called pest control." I expect exterminators to resolve a pest issue completely, not just make the situation a little better. If this had happened in a home that I owned, I would have kicked this man out immediately and found a different company."

Pantry bugs are rarely able to get into sealed packages, but they may try. If you find pests on or around a sealed food item, check inside to make sure the food is still clean. It’s debatable, but most will say either termites or bed bugs are the hardest to remove. Stink bugs can start reproducing a couple of weeks after they leave the nymph stages, which gives them several months to mate and start laying eggs. A single stink bug can lay up to 400 eggs in a lifetime, which can worsen an infestation. Stink bugs lay significantly more eggs in warmer climates where they stay active longer and have several rounds of egg laying.

While foxes may find them unpleasant, mothballs are not an effective deterrent. Additionally, mothballs are toxic for humans and animals and should never be used outside. They contain naphthalene or paradichlorobenzene, which are very harmful to the environment. Use safer, more reliable deterrents, or hire a professional wildlife control expert.

For years, it was believed that hobo spider bites were incredibly dangerous, causing flesh-eating wounds. But the rumors of their bites were greatly exaggerated, and there's been no real evidence showing a connection between a hobo spider bite and necrotizing wounds. 

That said, the spiders can and do bite, usually as a defense response. They won't attack you unprovoked, but if you take them by surprise and get close enough, they may bite you. Their bites may cause some minor irritation or itchiness.
