"Andy was very patient, kind, and thorough. He made sure we were satisfied with the work and went above and beyond to help us. He had our hallway remodeled, fixed a bedroom’s walls, painted, fixed light fixtures and electrical sockets. He was very honest and fair in what he could do and recommended as well as price. He even braved wallpapering for me. We are very pleased and overjoyed with the outcome. We will recommend him to anyone and everyone. He is a joy to work with."

Honest work. Handy man services. I worked for a licensed contractor for 10years in California doing flooring, bathroom remodel and building custom showers and other construction projects. Since I've been in Oklahoma I've done full make readys and am currently an apartment maintenance tech.

At Reverie WoodWorks, we craft your dreams into reality. We take care of most home renovation needs, from hanging shelves to tearing out walls, however, our aim is to create exciting outside-the-box entertainment ideas for your home. We can build nature based outdoor play systems, interactive furniture pieces, indoor play structures, reading/sleeping lofts, pet play systems and anything else that your imagination and our team can come up with. Give us a call today, let’s see what we can come up with together!

"The attention to detail we got from the Reverie crew is what impressed us. They didn’t rush through the tasks that were asked of them (interior/exterior paint, landscaping, hauling off, trim, wall patching.) They actually cared about the quality of the work they turned out, and they didn’t leave a big mess behind for us to clean up after. We’ve actually had that very frustrating experience with contractors in the past. We will definitely be keeping Reverie Woodworks in mind for our family’s future projects."

Handyman services: - Carpentry - Plumbing - Siding - Electrical - Window Replacement - Furniture Repair, Restoration and Refinishing - Fiberglass/Composite Material Repair I am a veteran of the United States Marine Corps where I served as an H-1 Helicopter Mechanic. After 11 years I left the Marine Corps and went to work for the general contractor who performed installs and remodels for the Home Base stores out of Southern California, where I gained most of my home remodeling experience. I spent 25 years in the aerospace community mostly teaching aerospace advanced composite repair to U.S. Marines and Sailors. I now live in Lexington, OK where I have purchased a gutted old house and restored it to a beautiful home for my wife and I. I believe in providing quality craftsmanship at a reasonable price, with an eye for attention to detail.

Furniture Refinishing questions, answered by experts

When deciding whether to reupholster, repair, or replace old furniture, consider its age, level of wear and tear, and overall value. It’s usually better to repair old furniture because older pieces tend to be made out of hardwood, like oak and maple, whereas newer furniture is more often made out of plywood, medium-density fiberboard (MDF), and other less durable materials. When determining whether it’s worth the price to repair a furniture item, calculate the price of buying a new, similar piece and compare that to quotes from local furniture repair services.

If you recently splashed paint on the wrong area of a wooden object, remove it with a solvent or caustic paint stripper. Some paint that has yet to dry may be removable by hand with coarse sandpaper or a plastic scraper. Another trick for removing dried-on paint is rubbing a dab of nail polish remover on the paint to remove it, but avoid touching the bare wood surface.

Minor water damage on wood tables can be reversed fairly easily. You can remove stains and light surface damage with a sandblock, then repaint and re-varnish the wood surface. For swollen and rotten wood, you can cut away the damaged parts and use a wood filler as long as the affected area isn’t too much.

Wood stain does go bad, but it will last in the can for between three and six years, provided you use proper storage techniques. Storing wood stain in open containers or in extremely low or high temperatures will cause your wood stain to become unusable much more quickly. Water- and latex-based wood stains typically last for just two to four years, while oil-based wood stains can last for three to six years.

Most bed assemblies take 1-3 hours, depending on design and complexity.
