"They arrived on schedule and began work immediately.  They were able to quickly trim the elm tree to our satisfaction.  The willow tree took a little more time due to the proximity of the homes and multiple dead limbs at the top of the tree.  I was pleased with their work, and will definitely use them again.  They are very professional, and know their business well.

"Excellent! Im impressed. Jose was very reasonably priced, easy to work with and prompt. Great communication. He bid a job on a Thursday morning and scheduled it for the following Tuesday. He then called the next day to bump it up to Monday to beat the impeding storm. He confirmed mid day Sunday. Jose and his crew were on the job by 8 a.m. and off the job around 12:30. They left the wood shavings from the stump and mostly 18 inch fireplace wood per my request. I saved a few 100 dollars this way. I moved the wood and did the rest of the cleanup myself as I felt his price was more than fair. Basically, they were on the job by 8 a.m. Monday and by Tuesday 1.p.m. I had the rest of the work tackled. Well worth it. I'm near 56 with a bad back and I was able to do the cleanup and save huge. Jose was willing to have his crew gather up and stack the wood where I wanted and rake up the debris included in his bid but again, I felt I got a square deal so I was more than happy to finish up. A couple last things. Jose privided proof of license insurance. As well, Jose was very knowledgeable as to why the tree needed to come down do to being compromised from prior improper pruning allowing water access to a low crotch causing internal rot. The tree would have eventually split and one side would have crushed our house. Fact. His crew actually wrecked a long chain when they hit a couple pieces of rebar encapsulated in the middle of the trunk and refused to accept my payment for the destroyed chain. I can't say enough. Do not fear this company, just hire them."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

No, you cannot throw branches from your neighbor’s tree back into their yard, nor can you discard leaves or other plant matter that originated from their yard back over there if it happens to land in your yard. You are responsible for cleaning up plant matter that made its way into your yard.

It’s possible to transplant trees as tall as 50 feet when an experienced tree planting service uses the right equipment. However, a tree with a trunk larger than two or three inches in diameter needs to be handled by a professional in order to yield successful transplanting results. Consulting a tree planting professional is the best way to tell if your large tree can be safely transplanted.

The best way is to start controlling tree height long before it grows too large, via careful pruning through the years. But that’s not always possible. If a tree has become too high or too large, use selective pruning to remove the most troublesome branches, one by one, without topping the tree. Gently shaping a tree like this can, over time, correct problems. You can also find growth inhibitors to spray on a tree to stop it from growing too rapidly, but use these sparingly if at all.

A tree can split because of high winds, a change in temperature, or from an infestation or tree disease. All of these factors can overlap, making a single cause difficult to pinpoint. While winter storms are some of the most common causes for a tree to split, it can also happen because of termites or rot.

Some trees will bounce back just fine, and others will struggle and possibly die. Evergreens, for instance, have a very difficult time recovering after droughts and usually die after periods of extreme dryness. Usually, you’ll have to just wait and see—if the drought occurs in wintertime, it’s possible that your tree will recover during the gentler springtime.
