"A portion of my driveway sank over the years. I needed it repaired. Dan Ramirez and his team were amazing! Their customer service is well above and beyond than most. First of all, he always responded to my inquiries within minutes. Mr. Ramirez provided an estimated quote, but was realistic with expectation management in the event unforeseen repairs were needed. He even works out a payment plan with his customers. Professional attitude, quality from start to finish, and attention to detail is what you will get from Dan and his team. Settle for nothing less. Hire him, and you won't be disappointed! If I need a general contractor again, I will go to Sierra Concrete first!"

"Project (overlay existing patio with approx. 6 inches concrete) went very well. Tom was very responsive and so easy to work with. He and his crew, all very nice guys, were very efficient, on-time every day until finished, careful with everything and left everything clean and tidy after finishing. Very good experience and would definitely use again - and highly recommend."

"Jesus and his guys were fast and dependable. They did a great job on my backyard retaining wall and concrete patio. I discovered a small problem after they had been paid in full and left, Jesus sent his guys back to fix it without question. Great customer service that I honestly didn't expect. Thank you"

"Provider showed up near 9:30 AM, and had documentation in hand as well as a crew of 4.  They began work immediately.  As they worked, they continually checked the interior walls with a level to make sure it was leveling the home again.  The crack along the outside wall near the guest bathroom closed nicely and they sealed the crack as well.  The members of the work crew that entered the house always removed their boots before entering.  When they completed, I did a walk around with them and was very pleased with the work."

Concrete Cutting questions, answered by experts

To maintain custom or fabricated metal structures and extend their lifespan and appearance, perform regular cleaning, apply rust prevention treatments, and use protective coatings.

You should not do your own welding unless you have the proper training and experience. Most home electrical systems can only handle MIG welding, which creates weaker bonds than TIG welding and won’t work on certain metals or metal thicknesses. Both welding forms usually require the use of shielding gas, which can be dangerous to store at home. Additionally, welding machines create temperatures of over 3,000 degrees, and the sparks can blind you if you don’t have the proper equipment. As such, it’s usually better to hire a professional welder for your welding projects.

The average cost for a welding project is about $300, with typical costs ranging from $125 to $490. However, prices can be as low as $125 for very small jobs or exceed $1,200 for large or complex projects. Welders typically charge an hourly rate between $65 and $150, depending on their experience, and many charge a minimum fee to cover overhead and travel expenses. The total cost is influenced by several factors, including labor, the cost of materials like metal rods and shielding gas, the type of metal being welded, the project's size and complexity, and your geographic location. For a precise quote, it's best to ask a local welder for an estimate based on your specific project.

Your typical household tools will not cut a metal pipe. To cut a metal pipe, you’d need more specialized tools like a pipe cutter or circular saw. Do not attempt to use these tools without taking proper safety precautions and wearing safety gear. It’s usually safer to let a pro cut a metal pipe, especially if you’re not confident in your skills with a heavy-duty saw.

Yes, you can cut plexiglass by hand using a sharp knife or blade (utility knife, box cutter, glass cutter, etc.).
