"They applied an epoxy coating to my garage floor. It looks great, easy to clean but is not slick. We were so please with the garage we had them install an overlay to our patio and front porch. Other common names for this process include concrete restoration, concrete refinishing, and concrete rejuvenation.

If the cracks in your concrete patio are cosmetic, you can pour a concrete overlay over the patio to cover them up. However, you shouldn’t cover more severe cracks because the underlying damage will simply cause new cracks to appear in the overlay. Patio repair costs $750 to $2,500, depending on the type of repairs and the extent of the damage.

Like all concrete, pervious concrete is susceptible to cracking due to expansion and contraction from freezing and thawing or heavy weight. Pervious concrete, however, is less likely to crack due to moisture intrusion than traditional concrete since pervious concrete is designed to drain and hold water in the material’s voids.

Resurfacing concrete or asphalt driveways involves adding a new top layer to fill in large cracks and potholes.
