Things he has done for me was put up 2 ceiling fans, a window a/c unit, 2 gates on my porch to make me feel safe. All things I could not do on my own. The list goes on and on. Please call, you'll be glad you did. He is a true handyman."

Professional and polite.  Repaired minor roof maintenance with caulking and hammering down exposed nail heads.  Provided photos of storm damage for estimate of repair cost.  Talked with his wood shingle sub-contractor and called within two days with estimate for storm damage repair.  Estimate was twice the cost of previous estimates received through (2) Angie's List Roofers.  Felt he may have tried to "make-up" his "deal" cost with a high estimate for storm repair.  We ultimately had the storm damage repaired by another Angie's List contractor at half the cost.  The roof was repaired to our satisfaction and extremely professional.

"Did not start when expected due to weather and prior jobs, but contractor and help did come and work.  Painting touch ups after work completed took longest.  But the sub contractor did excellent job.  When I found detail not to my liking, Roca was quick to send foreman out and fix to my satisfaction.  I liked that they tried to hire and use Veterans.  When chimney liked, they again sent person out quickly and he fixed the problem even though it was not part of the original work.  I thought they were fair and good."

"She was fine. We were working long distance and communication took place via phone and email. I would not ever hire someone long distance again for design work unless I see something on their website that is exactly what I like. She was very responsive though and she provided us with pictures of sample furniture and physical designs. I gave her a 'B' because she didn’t take a lot of time to customize the plan to our style. I expected her to adapt to our style, but instead she tried to make our living room fit her style. She seems to have a look that is her style and we actually asked her re-do the plan a few times before we got something usable. In the end, she is very good at what she does and she is very professional, but her design style doesn’t fit our way of living."

"For the price that we paid, I feel that we received a good value. The work was done well and in a somewhat timely manner. There was a delay when the painter had to leave town due to illness in the family. This was unavoidable and Roger communicated with us throughout. Roger's employees are true artist. They came up with affordable solutions for some issues that we had. There are a few places that the paint work was a little sloppy, but considering that we paid about 20% less than the next lowest estimate, we can't complain. The reason that we won't use this company again? The valve that supplies water to our dishwasher broke off during a day early on in the remodel. This was no fault of the crew, just an old valve. The problem is that no one told us this had happened. We turned our dishwasher on and left and when we came back, everything inside, including the end of one of the washer "blades" had melted. I called Roger and we agreed that we would pay to fix the valve and he would pay to replace the damaged dishwasher "blade". He advised me that he had ordered the part, which I had researched and knew to cost around $90. Three weeks later, he said that the part still had not come in. I advised him that I would like to withhold the $125 balance for the completed job until the part was installed. He agreed that was fair. It is 2 months later and we never heard back from Roger about the replacement part. Not only has he not called us, but he has ignored the 2 times that I attempted to contact him to ask about the part. This is extremely unprofessional. If not for that one thing, I would definitely hire him in the future. It's a shame that he ended our contact this way.
