"I'm one of the first people to review this business! Naturally, because of that, I was somewhat skeptical about if I should hire Joey and his crew. I'm really glad that I did. Joey did great work to hand mix and pour a small concrete pad for a greenhouse in my backyard. He was easy to work with, reasonably priced, prompt, and cleaned up when he was finished. He helped me make some decisions for the placement, and even gave me some advice about how we could cut the cost down on the project. He even threw in a little extra repair to a brick I had that was falling out of a retaining wall close to the site where he was working on my main project. Most states and municipalities don’t require concrete mudjacking companies to carry a specific license, but they usually need to have a general contractor’s license, and they should be fully insured. The only exception is if the mudjacking company provides foundation repairs as well, or if it offers mudjacking for home foundations. Concrete leveling is not typically covered by insurance. In some cases where the shifting concrete is caused by a natural disaster or storm, you may be able to file an insurance claim if your policy specifically covers those circumstances. In most cases, though, you’ll pay out-of-pocket for concrete leveling.

Mudjacking is suitable for sidewalks, driveways, patios, and nearly all exterior flat structures. However, it may not suit severely damaged or heavily cracked areas.

Freezing temperatures can cause the slurry to harden too quickly, compromising its strength and longevity.
