"Sears did their best to accommodate my schedule, time frame and features I wanted. I wanted gas heat and all other contractors only offered electric heat. My project was not easy. I have a 1930 two story updated brick home. However during the remodeling of the home the previous owner did not put in duct working. If you go to turn it counterclockwise and it won’t turn anymore, it’s open. Like most other valves, you should be able to turn a radiator valve counterclockwise (to the left) to open it and clockwise (right) to close it.
