I hired mid-state basement systems to do crawl space support and repair on my load bearing wall in my basement. MY PROBLEM WAS UNIQUE AS LOAD BEARING WALLS NORMALLY DO NOT NEED TO BE REPAIRED LIKE THIS! At first, it was not level upon completion (BARELY 1/8 INCH OFF) in ONE spot and I let my sales rep Jiovanni know. the team came back out within 48 hrs and adjusted everything and let me take a look at it. They did a fantastic job. The installation crew even wiped down my floors for me after they were done! They were so polite, and respectful and made sure there was no damage to anything as they were moving steel beams to my basement ( my fridge was an object in the way to the basement door ) Do not let competitors make you question the validity of this business. they were fantastic. I would choose mid-state basements for any basement project I had. Please use my review to know that mid-state basement systems will do the job the right way and how you need it to be done. "I recently purchased two flip properties which both had mold in their crawl spaces. After several quotes ranging from half of Alltek's price to double, I was nevertheless very confused. Tommy from Alltek was so patient with me and answered all of my questions in a very detailed and understandable manner. He was punctual and followed up with me on a regular basis to see how the other quotes had gone and even answered my questions about the terminology from the other companies. He was very straightforward and honest with his procedure and how it compared to the other guys. I feel like after speaking with him at length on several occasions, he truly wanted me to have the job done right regardless of whom I selected for the job. He had necessary replacement parts on his truck - changed the compressor and today the fridge is working great. My only complaint - it took so long (5 days) to get a repairman to the house. No more standing water in our craw space. Sump pump replaced and reconfigured. Below grade drains placed at foundation with 4à ¢à  à  drain tubes with silt socks going to sump. Trench filled with pea gravel. Also placed around furnace platform area draining under foundation. Excellent service for a fair price. Their staff were very helpful and courteous. "I had a wall caving in and water issue in basement. They had several recommendations on how to fix my issues. After agreeing on the how, they did excellent work. My house was in the middle of nowhere, they showed up on time and finished the work when expected. I would recommend them for any basement waterproofing or foundation repair. "AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
