"Shane and Chris were very kind and professional. They explained the process of foam to lift up the concrete around my swimming pool. They cleaned up afterwards and it was a very nice experience. I would highly recommend this service."

Small jobs welcome

"Absolutely thrilled with the stamped concrete patio Baby Carrot Concrete installed in our backyard here in Columbus! We were looking for something that looked like premium flagstone but without the crazy cost or maintenance, and they nailed it perfectly. 5 STARS !!!"

I had had two other estimates and both wanted to take down at least a third of the chimney and rebuild it.  Bob said this was not necessary as the bricks were sound.  This saved me a significant amount of money and time.  Work was done in just one day.  He had his own scaffolding.  House is two story plus attic and the chimney is tall.

He stuck with his estimate, takes great pride in his work.  He is professional and friendly and explained what he would be doing.

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

Concrete leveling is absolutely worth it if you have sunken concrete slabs and want to restore them to level, especially if the slab is part of your home foundation. Concrete leveling is less than half the price of replacing concrete sidewalks, patios, walkways, and pool decks, and it’s about a quarter of the cost of replacing a foundation. If you also treat the underlying problem, it can be a worthwhile and permanent solution.

Address drainage issues, avoid heavy loads, and seal cracks to prevent future settling.

It’s best not to perform mudjacking in the winter unless the ground temperature remains above freezing. Freezing temperatures can cause the slurry to harden too quickly, compromising its strength and longevity. Concrete is also more susceptible to cracking and splitting in cold temperatures, so there’s a higher risk of damaging the slab during the drilling and lifting process in winter.

The average cost for mudjacking is around $1,200, though prices can range from $300 to $3,400. On a per-square-foot basis, you can expect to pay between $3 and $8, with an average of about $5 per square foot. The final cost depends on several factors, including the square footage of the concrete, the type of slab, its accessibility, whether it is load-bearing, and the type of material used to lift it. Generally, lifting a driveway, small patio, or sidewalk is less expensive than lifting a slab foundation or garage floor.

Many contractors offer warranties for their work. Confirm terms before starting the project.
