I have been in business for over 25 years doing handyman services thru out the valley. Most of the time, word of mouth, has kept me almost to busy. I have done alot of work for major rental owners in Toronto and Steubenville and demo and remolding for a local kitchen and bath turn hous flipper in wintersville, who buy ugly houses and usually turned every one " grey and white". The last couple years i have been removing mold from those flips and have found a way to remove the black marks from shingles for good. It seems every house with asphalt shingles has this problem. Let me get rid of it for you.

The cost of a home inspection depends on a number of factors, such as the size and condition of the home, its location, and the inspector’s experience. Most inspections, however, will run between $187 and $510.

Beyond looking for visible signs of mold in a home, you can tell if your house has mold by undertaking testing. You can hire a local mold testing company to run the test for you, giving you a sure answer. Professional testing is often the best way to determine whether you have mold, as some types of mold may grow in places where you can’t easily see them, such as behind walls.

You can look at the duct damper’s lever to see if it’s open or closed. If the lever is parallel to the duct, the damper is open. If it’s perpendicular, the damper is closed. Alternatively, you can hold your hand against vents throughout your home. If you feel air coming out, that damper is partially or fully open. No airflow likely means that the damper is closed.

It depends on the bank and the extent of the issue. Some banks will lend against homes with minor foundation damage, but most won’t if the issue is structural since the home acts as collateral for the mortgage. Banks that offer renovation loans might still finance a home with structural problems. More minor issues like settling cracks and intermittent problems with humidity are unlikely to stop a bank from financing.

It’s a good idea to be present for a home inspection so the inspector has access to anything they need for the inspection and so you can ask the home inspector questions if necessary. You don’t need to shadow the inspector while they’re conducting the inspection—in fact, it’s better if you don’t—but don’t go too far in case they need access to something or have any questions.
