"Very smooth install. Ed was nice, personable, and timely. He installed the solar lights efficiently and correctly. And they function perfectly. Fee was very reasonable as well. He’s agreed to install similar lights next weekend at our daughter’s home located about 10 minutes away. We’re in the market for a new handyman, so would not hesitate to contact Ed again. Thank you."

"Good. They were available the next morning after we called for them to come fix our leaking faucet (which we had tried to repair more than once). That morning they called and asked if they should bring a new faucet in case replacement was necessary. They said it was better to bring one in case, otherwise we'd end up paying for 2 visits. We bought the faucet ourselves because we wanted to pick out the style. Pipeco had no problem rescheduling for later in the day while we made the purchase. They installed the new faucet, replaced the lines and installed a new valve under the sink. All is well again."

"Joe answered the phone on a Sunday afternoon and set the appointment for the next day.  He was punctual and went straight to work.  The replacement of the faucet, garbage disposal and sink went well without any hiccups.  He also found a link in the main drain and  repaired it.  We purchased a "big deal" and he completed the work in the time within the time frame.  We would definitely use Joe again for our plumbing needs!

"I had attempted to remove the old faucet and had reached a point where I did not have the tools necessary to complete the task. Provider cut off rusted pipe and installed new faucet I provided. Explained process. Cleaned up after service. Honored Angie's List offer. Only additional cost was for replacement shut-off valves needed due to the type of faucet I had selected and even that was quite reasonable. Great service. I will use this provider for other work I require.

"They were very professional. They came out and tried to snake my kitchen sink. They weren't able to do so and said they needed to install new drain pipe. They quoted me with one days work and ~1k. They were a second opinion because Benjamin Franklin tried to charge me 3k! They were beyond friendly and helpful and listened to my concerns. The drain pipe was installed within a day!! I will call this company for all of my drain issues from now on!!"

"Chris did an excellent job with our entryway tile and new fireplace surround. We are currently having him do a bathroom renovation project- demo, installation of shower, new floors and shower tile, vanity installation. Chris is great to work with and I’m recommending him to all my friends and family!"

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Most of the time, you can replace a kitchen sink without replacing the entire counter. However, if you’re replacing a large sink with a smaller sink, you’ll have to fully replace the counter because you’ll have a gap in the sink space area. But if your new sink is bigger than your old sink, your pro can simply cut into your counter to open up space for it.

Today’s standard sink stopper size is 1.5 inches. However, you can still find different sizes if your house uses an older sink stopper. Other sizes you can find in most hardware stores include one inch, 1-1/4 inch, 1-3/8 inch, 1-5/8 inch, 1-7/8 inch, 2 inch, 2-1/4 inch, 2-3/8 inch, and 2.5 inch.

Your garbage disposal is not draining because it might have a clog due to food waste, a foreign object, grease, oil, fat, or it may have a broken motor. When water doesn't flush out of the disposal, that's a key sign that your disposal has a clog or needs repair.

Drop-in sinks, also known as top-mount, are the easiest to install, especially when they fit the existing sinkhole. Drop-in sinks sit on top of the counter and have a raised edge to keep water from splashing onto the floor. They come in different styles to match your kitchen design.

Pedestal sinks typically come with two pieces: the pedestal (also known as the base or pole) and the sink basin. You may hear it referred to as a standalone sink. The sink sits on top of the pedestal, which attaches to the floor and hides the plumbing. Both pieces usually come in porcelain or ceramic.
