- Creative Concrete ImpressionsFirst off I want to mention that I have spent my whole career in trades and engineering and my job is to select and hire contractors to perform work in a large manufacturing plant. Mike Patterson is the owner of Creative Concrete and he absolutely looks the part of the quintessential "concrete guy". Working with Mike was great, I called him and he set us up to go see a few customers that had patios installed by him many years ago, they looked fantastic! He then came out to my house and we discussed the install and he gave me some pointers. I then made up a CAD drawing of what I wanted and gave it to Mike, he was pretty happy to get an exact representation of what I wanted. I can't say enough good things about Mike, he is on the job working and directing his crew and works hard to make it right. Our job was a difficult excavation but Mike spent the necessary time to get the proper amount of base material in place before pouring, other contractors would have skimped because the earth was so solid but not Mike, he use that Bobcat like a hammer trying to get the hard clay removed. He and his crew worked great and the end result is fantastic, here I am 5 years later writing a review because I'm still so pleased, no issues at all with this patio, period. If you want a patio and are are wondering if stamped concrete is the way to go, talk to Mike, he will explain to you what you need to know to make an informed decision, like adding fiberglass to reinforce etc. I am no amateur and rarely use contractors at home but when I come across a job that requires a special skill and tools I am critical of who I choose. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike, he did a great job for us. We are moving away and I thought Mike deserved a good review before I left because I look out at that patio now and know that it helped sell my house
- Criswell Concrete & DesignWe put out bid packets to contractors for our pole barn and concrete and then interviewed 6-9 people for the concrete work. We gave them specifications in regards to thickness, type, etc. and Criswell not only gave us everything we wanted, with little exception, but his price was also the best. His crew was absolutely superb. We had a few things we wanted customized and they were happy to comply with that. They came back and put a sealant on also. I'm not easy to please, but they delivered and did a great job. The workers were kind, professional, humble and accommodating

They cut the concrete into sections to avoid having cracks appear. They applied a sealant for us - not one coat, but 2 coats, over a period of 4 weeks. We are not easy to please because we believe in excellence, but this company GREATLY EXCEEDED our expectations

"Charlie showed up to give us a quote and was able to see that the fix was just concrete caulking. He fixed it but gave us a quote to totally seal the crawl space. Very, very GOOD company - honest and trustworthy. If we were not moving we would get the crawl space sealed but I will leave the quote for the new owners as I think it should be done.
