Ideally, you’ll have enough room to open your doors and cabinets without interfering with your shower. This may not be possible in a smaller bathroom.

Acrylic costs more than fiberglass, but it's also a better value because it's among the most durable and damage-resistant materials used for shower walls. Acrylic showers tend not to chip, crack, or fade over time, even with regular use.
