"?We had vinyl flooring installed in our attic space and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The team was professional, punctual, and worked very efficiently. The quality of the installation exceeded our expectations, and they completed the project much faster than we anticipated without sacrificing attention to detail. The new floor looks amazing and completely transformed the attic. They also kept the workspace clean and communicated with us throughout the process. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality flooring work and great customer service!?"

"With so many contractors to choose from - I was happy with my choice. Providence Always conducted a full renovation of my 1990s master bathroom which included: removing a soaker tub, replacing light fixtures, hardware, floor and shower tiling, installing a new stand alone tub, new glass shower doors and toilet, light fixtures, some electric, painting, molding, and to save where we could, painting the existing vanity with new countertop and faucets. The bathroom is mostly done and looks wonderful. Although we've been beset by some holdups I'd like to note the following: 1) The contract - to conduct work consistently (without breaking to do other jobs), inform if problems arose, provide products as agreed, take responsibility for work promised and accomplished - has been upheld to date. You may be requested to share your own detailed list of work scope and priorities. This turned out to be very helpful: made me think through the project and helped keep me more organized and on point. Also helped with coordination. Good idea to do this no matter what the project is. 2) Contractor - Fernando, the business owner, takes personal interest in his clients and strives to achieve as close to perfect a job as possible. Clients' input and satisfaction are very important to him. He's also a design enthusiast with ideas, suggestions which he shares generously. If you're hands on and have set ideas of your own, as am I, he's a good partner and spent more time consulting with me on details than I would consider usual. Contractors give you a few material choices - Fernando had the patience and time to review all my needs and choices and went out of his way to order fixtures, toilet, tiles, that I wanted. If you want to choose your own materials, tiles, etc - go for it. He'll advise and implement. If you'd like him to do all that for you with your input - go for it. He's patient, high energy, and maintains that level throughout. His effort to communicate as quickly as possible about ideas, timing, or concerns made the project easier. To date - no "disappearing" acts or unanswered calls (the nightmare of reno and building clients.) 3) Team - Helpful, present, responsible, skilled and willing. It makes a difference when you ask for an improvement or redo within reason and the request is met with cheerfulness, and gets done. 4) Costs - Reasonable. And dependent upon your choices of materials. End result - bathroom looks beautiful and more than I expected."

Repair Bathroom Tile questions, answered by experts

If you plan to make bathroom updates in the near future, try to lump in a few smaller projects with your shower door installation. Most contractors charge a flat rate for smaller projects like updating a fixture. If you lump it in with other projects, you may not have to pay an additional visit fee. Projects to consider doing when you replace your shower door include: Replacing the tile in your shower Updating the showerhead Updating other bathroom fixtures Minor repairs, like fixing small leaks and worn caulk Installing water-safe recessed lighting in your shower

If you are fortunate enough to have a renovation budget of $100,000, your budget can take you pretty far. Considering the average cost to renovate a home in the U.S. is about half of that, it should be enough for several upgrades and aesthetic improvements. The actual cost will depend on factors like the size of the home, material choices, and whether you hire remodeling contractors or take a DIY approach.

How long it takes to remodel a bathroom yourself depends on the size of the bathroom, the scope of the project, your skill levels, and how much free time you have. If all you’re doing is giving the room a fresh coat of paint, you can be done and dusted in a couple of days. A large DIY bathroom remodel takes two weeks to a month.

Yes, you can remove a bathtub yourself if you have previous DIY experience and basic plumbing knowledge. You should have at least one other person help you if you approach this project as a DIY. However, hiring a plumber or bathroom remodeling pro can prevent accidental damage from demolition or water leakage.

How much room you need for a roll-in shower depends on your goals and the specifications of your shower. Most roll-in showers require at least 60-by-30 inches of space, and at least 60-by-60 inches is best for comfort and maneuverability. When planning the size of your roll-in shower, consider your needs for comfort and additional installations, such as benches and grab bars, that can make the space tighter.
