"Horrible door install!!! Does not close properly, large gap between frame and wall, can see daylight when closed, horrible trim cuts, corners don?t touch and are splintered, obviously used wrong type of saw, used nail head and hammer on trim so I can?t caulk or paint over these nails. This door was custom made. Home Depot measured the opening so it was very expensive and is now ruined. I thought Anji?s list advertised professionals but that is not the case. This was the most amateur work I have ever seen and has cause me much anxiety and sleepless nights. The company owner repeatedly told me he is a Veteran AND an Engineer however, he had no explanation other than to cut the wall out?????? What??? He is a good talker and offered $99 back. However, it is costing me quadruple that to have this door torn out, and reinstalled, and having to purchasing all new trim. If you take pride in you home do not hire this company."

"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. Jason went out of his way to make sure my wife and I were on the same page when installing water lines for our new utility sink. Though outside the scope of our quote, he went out of his way to properly install the sink's drain. Unlike their competitors, Ace does not charge a fee for estimates (cough...$139 Pipe Doctor fee...cough). We have always felt Ace provides high quality work at reasonable prices. To this point, be sure to do your research - Pipe Doctor quoted over twice as much for this project. When you call Ace, and we hope you do, ask for Jason; he is genuine and straight forward. His work lives up to what we've come to expect from Ace and we will absolutely call him again."

Pros: - Isaiah and his team took great care to cover everything properly before starting work and clean up after the completion of the job. - The crew fixed a few things I screwed up during the hanging process but did not change the quoted price. - The job was performed in mid-July and my house is in a swamp, so it took longer than expected for the finishing compounds to dry. Rather than rush the job, the crew took their time and allowed full drying before the next layer. Cons: - None!"

Their price was the best! Their yearly service/maintenance contract is lower than their competitors. Todd and associates are professional, questions were answered, and any hiccup was addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Two thumbs up!!!"
