"We loved our house but hated the front steps/porch and the back steps/raised patio, so we hired Hillside to design and build a fully enclosed patio/sunroom and decking to go around our hot tub and swim spa, as well as a new front porch, steps, and accessibility ramp. Donald has incredible energy and passion, and a really great eye for designing outdoor spaces that look great and work really well. He and his team worked on the project for about two months, and he constantly checked in on design questions, and made a lot of great recommendations for aspects we had not considered. We love the result! We have a great, weather-protected outdoor space that blends perfectly with the house, a raised deck that lets us walk from the house out to the swim spa, and steps to a lower deck that wraps around our hot tub. "Zach mis measured a foundation on step #1, made the wood structure fit in the cheapest and laziest way. Concrete pillars were supposed to be hidden under the shed (I also supplied a drawing from another contractor to go by) and they now extend past so I am not able to just easily landscape around them as well as some of the brackets literally hanging off of the pillars. A couple of the concrete screws did not draw down all the way, a normal person would find out why and fix but nope they left it this way, pictures in the link!! The foundation was not square and it is to wide as well due to this mistake. I also had to shim multiple areas due to the foundation not being level. He promised to come back and help with some landscaping and some sort of flashing on the back to help hide the mistakes and most importantly keep water off the wood, I even had him give me a paid receipt saying he will return to help and then disappeared. I have linked pictures and a video of the terrible workmanship. Would not recommend. A follow up and help with some of the landscaping would have been very appreciated. { Removed google link}"
