Every single house got sold they paid me more than what I asked for because of the quality of work that I did, you have to see it to believe it , I flip ugly tables into a marble looking by adding epoxy on it 👍 don’t settle for less get the best for your house. Yes. Many manufacturers make stair treads that you can install over carpeted stairs without needing to do any cutting or drilling. Stair treads can also be installed on wood, marble, and other stair surface materials. Just be sure to double-check the information for the specific product you’re buying to ensure its adhesive or installation process will work with the type of stairs you have.

Contractors commonly install floors before cabinets during a kitchen remodel. It’s the standard option when installing hardwood, vinyl, and tile flooring. Installing flooring first helps prevent height misalignment, ensures a seamless appearance, and saves extra flooring work and costs if you plan to replace or remove any cabinets later.

Dry rot or severe water damage may warrant a replacement, but you don’t always need to replace damaged subflooring. If your subfloor has warped because it was installed incorrectly, you can sometimes shim the panels (in other words, add a thin, wedge-shaped piece of wood to level the surface). If your subfloor bows upward, you may be able to sand it down at the joist so it’s level, depending on the extent of the damage.

New flooring costs quite a bit, so longevity is important to think about. Concrete generally has the longest life span, but it’s not always a good solution for homes with wooden subfloors. That said, hardwood floors and stone floors can last up to 100 years, and you can refinish or restore them to remove imperfections from daily wear.

Plywood is the best type of subfloor for a mobile home, though if you’re installing flooring in a bathroom, you may want to install a vapor barrier or use a moisture-proof subfloor material like Amdry. OBS is similar, but it can swell when moisture is present. 

Either way, old mobile home subflooring made from particleboard can cause issues with your joints. If you’re replacing your subfloor, it’s best to upgrade to plywood.
