"Have had Tri-State do several projects. All have been done quickly and well. Latest was cutting an egress window into a concrete foundation for a lower level walkout. Tri-state had to coordinate several employees to do the job and it turned out great! Along the way they picked up a few smaller jobs and handled equally well. They make sure to do things the right way as well, which I appreciate."

"Talked to Josh on the phone and discussed the needs. He was clear and concise and very knowledgeable. Tristen came and installed the window tint very professional, great job installing the tint. Everything looks great, very happy with the install!!"

"Have worked with Jeremy and Larry at 1st Security for a few months now and they're great. They're far more responsive than any other alarm company I've worked with and they're focused on meeting your needs, versus endlessly trying to get you to buy more services and sensors that you might not need. In the house I just bought some other alarm company had installed a window open/close sensor on a window that doesn't open - probably fooling the prior senior citizen owners to pay more for more equipment they didn't need. I rest assured that 1st Security would never do something so foolish and greedy. They're good, honest people, and this is something that's unfortunately hard to find in the alarm business. I recommend them."

"Install was easy. Up front cost was pretty low with Angie's List coupon. Monthly price is a little high compared to competing companies. Response time with alarms is excellent. I was advised to use glass break alarms within 10 ft of my first floor windows, which we installed correctly. I asked prior to installation if having one in the kitchen would cause false alarms due to dishes clanging, etc. I was told the glass break alarms are configured to a precise frequency that alarms with breaking glass. So, not a "no", but not really an answer. Well, every time we cook dinner, wash dishes or empty the dish washer, the kitchen glass break alarm gives a warning which would sound the alarm if it was set. This has caused us a number of false alarms while we've been away due to shifting bowls or plates in our drying rack. For the first several we've had to pay our police department $120 to check the house, and I was only notified after the first alarm that there was a cheaper option for a security company to drive by to check for a break in."

"We were preparing to build a new deck and needed our house power washed and some of the window and door trim painted. The house is three stories high in the back and I am not comfortable working on ladders at that height. Thankfully, John is. We contacted several people (all off of Angie's List) and John was the first to get back with us. His plan and estimate matched what we wanted and was reasonably priced.
Even though some of the respondents considered it a small project, John took his time and went through the details with us. While others were ambiguous regarding when they could do it and how long it would take, John was very specific and lived up to his promise. He showed up exactly on time and well prepared. He began working and continued to work through the project's completion. He was very conscientious and considerate.
While he was doing some of the projects, we added several additional items onto the list and he was agreeable to the added projects. What started out as a $250 project doubled in cost, but pleasantly so. We were impressed with John's work ethic and attitude. He was very agreeable to the tasks that we added as we went and was very accommodating to our needs. We couldn't have chosen more wisely.
John will be the first person I call for future projects around the house."
