When they finished with the scraping we had the ugliest house in Richmond. They began the painting process with a high quality primer, that they had tinted to be a similar but lighter color than the finish coat. While they had several weather delays they completed the job in a timely manner. We believe they did an excellent job and highly recommend them.

They only applied what appeared to be one coat at most. In some places didn't appear to apply any primer at all or only applied primer coat, especially to the doors with the original paint extremely visible. The walls were not primed well or prepped if at all. Left holes and extremely rough spots even after they were pointed out. Very messy with the paint with paint left on the window locks, on new light fixtures, and was not cut (edged) well. Didn't even bother to remove outlet face plates prior to painting. Other contractors who did work for us made comments about what a bad paint job they did. One contractor even informed us that they witnessed one of the painters actually watering down the paint to make it go further. This might explain at least somewhat why the paint covered so poorly.

On schedule and did minor Sheetrock repair at no extra charge.

Mike Perseponko was very professional, from the time of the estimate through the completion of the project. His crew did a good job, and he did a good job of checking in with them to make sure everything was going as it should. There was some confusion about one of the paint colors (we gave Mike a paint chip of the color we wanted, but it apparently got lost in the shuffle and his crew matched the paint that was there -- a duller, greyer color). However, as soon as we pointed out the problem, they fixed it. The final results are excellent. They also did a really good job of cleaning up after themselves (something that was a problem with another company we hired years ago) and gave us the leftover paint.
