Michael and crew did a fantastic job. They were very professional and completed the work in a short time frame, making the house much more accessible for my mom. They took care to preserve and re-use the house's original wood trim/moulding so the new rooms tie in perfectly with the existing spaces. Michael has many years of experience and it shows in both the quality of the work performed and the suggestions he offered along the way. Finding a contractor for a big job can be very stressful, these guys made the whole remodeling process easy & painless. I'm happy to say that this company knocked it out of the park in terms of quality of workmanship, timeliness, and fair pricing. Can't ask for much more than that. After this project I can confidently recommend Winthrop Place if you're looking for a local contractor. I just wish I'd found them sooner!"

"Scott landscaped, painted exterior and interior of house, repaired multiple areas inside and out, waterproofed and finished basement, tuck pointed brick, sanded and refinished wood floors, replastered walls and ceiling and always willing to help us out with lifting and other activities as needed. "Everything went very well. We sent Michael pictures of what needed to be done. He gave us a quote. We later asked him to come onsite to firm up the quote, which he did, and the price was the same. He stated he was booked some time out, but said he sometimes has cancellations. He contacted us and stated he indeed had a cancellation, so was able to start the next day. He started the work, even without a deposit, since it was short notice, and we were still away, out of town. We were trying to decide what to do for railing, and had captured quotes from supply companies for replacement aluminum or steel materials, but they seemed high. We asked Michael for his thoughts. He checked a hardware store for us, sent us pictures, and then sent us the part number/SKU's from the store. We paid the store directly, and he picked up the materials. The work is almost done, but all has gone great thus far, and we see no reason why it won't complete with great success."
