Josh immediately knew what was wrong with our existing pump and recommended the best way to go about doing the backup pump we wanted installed. The next day, he and two of his employees came out, installed the new pump, and the backup (which required running some new pipes). It only took them a short amount of time and they were finished. They did quality work and were very helpful with explaining on how to use it and what to do and not do should we ever need to use it. Unrelated to the installation of the sump pump, Josh also helped me to re-light my gas water heater, which had gone out when our new furnace was installed the day before. He was very helpful about this and even went through known problems with the type of water heater my home has. He was very helpful with all of the questions I had and seemed very genuine. I have dealt with several different plumbers in the past and have always been left with a bad taste in my mouth afterward. Not with ACE. I definitely recommend using ACE Plumbing and I will definitely be using going forward in the future. We told them the problem and they said they could order a new blower motor and module but could not get it until Tuesday, after the freeze. This was a Saturday night that we were calling them. We reluctantly called in another repair contractor, United Home Comfort, and they had to come out twice and although we had heat thru the big freeze, we again had no heat twice more. After our frustration with the problem and the failure of the new blower motor that UHC had installed on our unit, we were reluctant to call them again and so called Tin Man instead the day after the new blower motor had been installed by UHC, and failed. Tin Man's service man. Ken, came out and was very professional, knowledgeable, and considered all aspects of the problem, called the manufacturer, and found that the other company had incorrectly wired the new blower motor they had installed and had the speed set too high. Tin Man's man, Ken, corrected the wiring and unit speed and the furnace is running beautifully now. Also he assessed the unit and told us other things it needed to keep it running its best, as it is now 20 years old and we had never had a problem that was not inexpensively repaired by Tin Man in the past. We will probably be replacing the unit due to other issues that he made us aware of, so the new blower motor and the money spent will have been wasted to some degree as it would only have been used a couple of weeks before we replace the entire furnace. In hindsight, we probably should found a way to keep the house warm until Tin Man could repair the unit back on Jan 5, but that is spilled milk now. We will definitely only call Tin Man in the future. He then explained the dangers of having a cracked heat exchanger, which is carbon monoxide spilling into the house. Being that I am a mother of 4, I knew I could not chance that. The home I wanted to buy had sat vacant for 2 ½ years!! She checked EVERYTHING in this big house, and I do mean everything! I was surprised at how many ?little things? I hadn?t thought of that I should have, I thought of the big ticket things, but the little items can add up to big money too. She also pointed out where the previous owners had tried to ?fix? things over a period of time that will cause me problems. Her detailed report and list of items that I presented to the real estate office and owners was fantastic, three major items were repaired prior to me purchasing the home. A wall on the upper patio that was loose, bathroom sinks that were draining too slowly and ONE big ticket item was the furnace;Janni suggested that I call in a Heating and A/C to confirm her diagnosis.Which I did immediately, my furnace man said the furnace needed to be replaced although the owners said it had been serviced every year and was fine. However the owners called their furnace man out and their furnace man agreed with mine, and I was given a complete credit for a brand new Trane Furnace at closing. I decided to call their furnace man to install the new furnace because he was less expensive only to be informed he told the back then to replace the furnace because the heat exchangers were gone! If Janna wouldn?t have noticed someone trying to make their own repairs on this furnace I might have died in this house with my pets. Way to go Janni you have my vote!!

FAQs for heating oil service projects in Haskins, OH
To buy heating oil for your house, contact local heating oil companies to compare prices and place an order once you decide on a supplier. The company will have to deliver your heating oil in a truck designed to carry and dispense heating oil safely. Call and order your heating oil early enough to have your oil delivered before you need to start using it for home heating.
On average, you’ll need about two gallons of oil per day to heat your house when it’s 50 degrees Fahrenheit outside. Most oil tank capacity is about 275 gallons, and heating your house with two gallons of oil per day will last about four and a half months. This consumption will vary depending on the climate and average temperature in your location. For example, if the winters are longer and colder where you live, you’ll probably need to refill your oil tank at least once to get through the winter.
You save money on heating oil in a few ways:
Make sure your home is well insulated and sealed against drafts and heat leakage.
Use a thermostat that’s working properly and calibrated accurately.
Program your thermostat to lower the heat when you’re not home.
Order heating oil during the off-season when prices are likely to be lower.
Summer months tend to be when heating oil prices are lowest because of decreased demand. Buying heating oil during the off-season also prepares you for when the weather gets cold, and you need to start using the oil to heat your home. Although heating oil prices will fluctuate, it’s best to avoid purchasing between September and April, as that's the peak season for heating oil demand.
Overall, heating your home with an oil furnace tends to be less expensive than heating your home with an electric heating system. Oil heating systems stay warm for longer periods of time without drawing a constant electrical current to maintain a temperature. Plus, heating oil systems typically have a longer lifespan and lower price tag than their electrical counterparts, resulting in short- and long-term savings.
