"I cannot say enough positive things about Chris and Bobbie from Red Dirt Garden and Home who completed our sunroom project for Patio Enclosures. They were highly professional and knowledgeable about their craft. I have had other home improvement projects done at my home and I have not had the trust and confidence in any one like I had with Chris and Bobbie. I would highly recommend them for any home improvement project."

"Things went well beyond our expectations! Every single DBC's employee was a gentleman throughout the whole process. Always polite, cleanly and professionally dressed, answered all questions, asked questions when needed, cleaned up the work area every day, & their work was impeccable. They even had a porta-jon brought in for their use. I worked all day so my wife was there all during this process and was always treated respectfully. There was never a moment of her being uncomfortable. There was never rough or inappropriate language. I owned a lumberyard years ago and sold and designed many houses, so I am able to spot issues that most people would not spot. I'm telling you, every mitered joint was tight, nail issues repaired to where you can't even see them, the roof tie in is seamless. Color of shingles don't match perfectly due to the house shingles being 10+ years old and cannot be helped, so that's perfectly understandable. The owner Doug Bierer runs a great contractor business and would hire them again with no hesitation. The DBC contract that was drawn up for the project was concise and understandable. The concrete company they recommended did a fine job also. We had stamped concrete that looks like wood timbers....sweet! Our patio is beautiful and an oasis for us! Much better than we even hoped."
In the interior of the sunroom, white PVC wall panels were installed on the house wall, giving it a modern look as well as being water resistant.
Descending into this basement, you're welcomed by crisp white trim, a charming bar area and a big entertainment space, perfect for the whole family.
Complete with Privacy shades and a canopy, this family can adjust their outdoor experience however they please.

"I used the company Champion Window Company of Wichita, LLC to replaced three windows for my home. I would have given them a five for quality but there was a small leak that ended up needing caulking. Overall I had a good experience with the company."

"Tony was the sales and design consultant. His presentation was superb explaining every detail but most importantly there was no high pressure sale pitch. Tyler was the installer he worked on my project just like he was working on his own house. Joyce is a family owned company that really cares about their customers. If you are planning on a new project don't be skeptical give Joyce a call you won't be sorry! I have a front door and screen installed I have windows check because Patio Doors and Entry Doors want a option"

Patios questions, answered by experts

A screened-in porch can add value to your home, with a potential return on investment (ROI) of 70% to 84%. The actual value added depends heavily on several factors. Climate is a major consideration; homes in warm, humid, or buggy areas (like the Southern regions) see the highest ROI. In colder climates, the value is diminished as the unconditioned space is unusable for much of the year. Other factors that influence the return include the quality of materials and construction, the size of the porch, and the local real estate market. While a screened-in porch can enhance curb appeal and attract potential buyers, it is not included in the home's total square footage for appraisal purposes.

With proper maintenance, the average life span of a screened-in porch is six to eight years for the screens themselves, but the foundation and structure can last for 50 to 100 years. To keep your screened-in porch in good shape, clean your porch screens regularly, patch holes, re-seal the wood as needed, and address any foundational issues right away.

When designing an attached greenhouse, several factors should be considered. These include the orientation and positioning of the greenhouse to maximize sunlight exposure, the structural integrity of the connection to the house, sufficient insulation to regulate temperature, proper ventilation for airflow, and adequate space for plants and pathways. If you’re restricted because of your budget, go with a simpler design to maximize the use of your money.

A sunroom will add more value to your home than a deck, but with a much higher up-front cost. Depending on its construction and function, a sunroom may be counted as additional living space, while a deck is strictly an outdoor feature. Both will increase your home’s value, but the sunroom will have a much bigger effect.

The average cost to screen-in your patio ranges from $2,000 to $4,000. How much you spend depends on the size of your patio, the materials used, and construction complexity. Some patio screen room kits are easy to DIY, but you may need to hire a local screened-in porch builder and obtain permits for more complex designs.
