"James came from Ohio to do a few projects for our non-profit organization. We have staffed residential homes for adults with intellectual disabilities throughout the South Hills area. We recently purchased a newer home for one of our houses, because our residents are aging and need a more accessible home. James and his teammate helped us with that. They helped install some handrails, installed a bathroom vent, closed off an old dining room into a bedroom, installed a split unit, and tore out a tub and installed a huge linen closet in its place. They were very professional through the whole process and we will be using them for many similar projects in the near future. Highly recommended!"

His team removed the old 2 layer roof and his team did a great job protecting a flat roof during the tearoff. Outstanding cleanup until well past dark with flashlights. "Chris courageously took on an unusual project - installing corrugated polycarbonate sheets with metal channeling in second floor gable walls of a home-made cabin with not much perfectly plumb, straight or true. If you’re building a pole barn in place of a traditional home, lenders usually don’t offer traditional mortgages for these structures. You can also expect higher insulation costs and building permits may not be allowed in your area. Even if you’re just using a pole barn as storage or as a shelter for animals, these structures are less durable than steel buildings and require more maintenance.

It may be tempting to DIY the construction of a swing set to save money, but we don’t recommend it. Since children will use the swing set, the entire system must be solid and safe, meaning the cost savings aren’t worth potentially endangering them. Plus, most DIYers will have to build their swing sets out of wood, which won’t last as long as metal or vinyl and introduces the risk of splinters. Instead, hire a local playground equipment installer to ensure the swing set is built safely and efficiently, setting up your kids for fun for years to come.

Pole barns and carports are similar in that they rely on posts for support and are often not connected to a primary structure. The main difference between the two is that pole barns usually include walls that surround the entire perimeter of the structure, while carports generally remain open on three or four sides. It’s possible to insulate garage doors and even exterior walls on pole barns to create a comfortable workspace, and it’s a bit more secure for storage purposes. However, carports are more affordable.

Choosing a suitable backyard playset that’s age-appropriate and entertaining for your children is worth the cost. A backyard playset you can update and upgrade as your kids grow offers even more benefits. Although a playset won’t substantially increase your home’s value, it won’t negatively affect it either.
