"They did an exceptional job. From start to finish I was completely impressed with Chris. They did a phenomenal job and in labor I paid less than $2000 to do the work. They started approximately on January 23rd. Chris is coming back in August to build me a bathroom down here and he's also going to close off my laundry room. I spent less than $2000 in labor only and that has nothing to do with the materials. I wanted to buy my own material because I wanted to get my gas free."

"When Mark showed up at my front door, I was a bit apprehensive. I guess one should never judge a book by the cover. After discussing his game plan, I could tell he was very knowledgeable. Not only did he install the ventilation fan in our upstairs bathroom, but he also fixed the ducting for the existing fan in our master bathroom and repaired an outlet on the backsplash. He was very polite and clean, had deep experience to draw from, and left my home better than he found it. His prices are reasonable, especially for working involving crawling through my attic. I would highly recommend Mark Allen of Handy Hands Repair any time of day, and day of the week."

"Lucas was excellent! He made time in his weekend schedule to fit us in, even though he had a full day. He got here early, was personable, professional and knowledgeable. He did a high quality job on the repair, and even though that task took a little longer, he still asked if we needed anything else looked at. He quickly adjusted the drawers on a dresser for us. We will most definitely use Lucas for future contracting needs!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!"

"Milex Constuction came to my home the same day I called for an estimate. Mr. Alex was very thorough in explaing how the work would be done. I feel they listened to my concerns & paid special attention when working in those areas. They are very knowledgeable, not only about product and process, but also handling insurance claims. The job started out a little rough because of the weather. It turned out to be the hotest 2 days of the summer! Still everything was completed in 3 days and the clean up was treated just as important as the roofing job itself. The workers are a dedicated bunch who worked till dark when needed. All the guys are very polite and extremely dedicated to their work. Mr Alex's referal to the exterior painters was also a spot on choice. Now that the outside is done, Time for some inside drywalling!

Yes, most states require a fencing installer to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed fence installer could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification, which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
When choosing a driveway gate, consider the fence material, whether you want an automatic gate or a manual one, and property limitations like the slope of your driveway. We recommend speaking with a professional driveway gate installer to see what types of gates will work on your property based on your fencing or home’s exterior. Keep in mind that driveway gates should range between 10 to 12 feet wide to ensure cars can easily maneuver through the gateway.
Fence installers typically charge by the hour when working on a project. Typically, you can expect to pay around $50 per hour for fence installation. Your project might take anywhere from 24 to 72 hours, depending on the length of your fence, overall project complexity, and fence type.
Driveway gates are expensive to install, but they are usually a worthwhile investment. Not only does this exterior feature improve your curb appeal and, by extension, your property value, but they also help keep your home secure. Driveway can keep out unwanted guests and provide additional privacy for you and your household. Plus, they can serve as a means of keeping children and pets in your yard, depending on the type of fence.
The average cost to install a driveway gate is around $3,500, and prices usually total between $1,900 and $6,000. However, security and driveway gates can cost as much as $12,000. Some cost factors include the size of the gate, the type of gate, the gate material, and the security level of the gate. A wrought iron gate will be more expensive than a PVC driveway gate, which will typically cost more than a wood gate. Automated gates are always more expensive than manual ones, as they require additional electrical installation.
