"lkkllWork was done promptly and carefully, with little disruption of basement.  Included was the installation of a sump pump.
In the two years since installation, the system has worked beautifully and the walls, parts of which had gotten very wet, are now completely dry.

"It 'WENT' very smoothly!
He was easy to work with, did everything I asked, and did it well.
The only problem was that the instructions for hanging the Roman shades were somewhat confusing, but we managed
to figure that out. and they look great.
ALL of the things I've mentioned are things I could have done myself years ago--except the Roman shades. Most
'handymen'  I've met  don't seem interested in doing these smallish things--but often the small things are the most
important to keeping a house 'working',
I'm very pleased with this provider!

"He did some flashing around some windows that were excellent. The roofing work he did was excellent and he repaired an issue. However, I was not pleased at all with the replacement of siding that I had him do. Where the outlet comes out for the exhaust from the dryer, I had previously had it removed and there was a hole left there. It was covered with tin and I had wanted it to be replaced with siding. He was going to install and match the siding. He was unable to match it and what he put up there was horrible. He spent a lot of time looking to match the siding before he said they no longer made that siding and he was unable to match it at all. It was poorly matched and you could see the tacking that was put up there. I told him I was not pleased with the job and I would have preferred the silver tin that the previous contractor had put over it over the various off color and poor tack job of putting up this siding. I also think that the cost for the deal was too much for the work that he did."

"Fantastic. He shows up when he says he's going to. Weather permitting, he gets it done the day he commits to. Pricing is reasonable and he can get to it quickly. We're very happy and we're looking at him for other work as well."

"An eight foot section of PVC fence was taken down buy a very large branch. He was able to repair it to like new condition. I sent him many pictures with dimensions and he was able to put it back together without having to replace it with a new panel. The fence I had was a discontinued style. He saved me money and didn't have to replace it with something that would not match. I'd recommend him to anyone.

FAQs for driveway gate service projects in Clinton, OH

When choosing a driveway gate, consider the fence material, whether you want an automatic gate or a manual one, and property limitations like the slope of your driveway. We recommend speaking with a professional driveway gate installer to see what types of gates will work on your property based on your fencing or home’s exterior. Keep in mind that driveway gates should range between 10 to 12 feet wide to ensure cars can easily maneuver through the gateway.

It might be possible to install your own manual driveway gate rather than an automatic one, but we don’t recommend it. Driveway gates are large, heavy, and bulky, and getting them to your house and maneuvering them for installation can be dangerous. It’s also challenging to install the gate and balance it perfectly so that it functions as expected, and wiring any automation mechanisms for your gate is also dangerous and requires help from an electrician. We recommend leaving the work to a professional driveway gate installer.

Driveway gates are expensive to install, but they are usually a worthwhile investment. Not only does this exterior feature improve your curb appeal and, by extension, your property value, but they also help keep your home secure. Driveway can keep out unwanted guests and provide additional privacy for you and your household. Plus, they can serve as a means of keeping children and pets in your yard, depending on the type of fence.

In most municipalities, you will need a permit to install a driveway gate unless you plan on removing an existing gate and installing a new one. You can either ask your driveway gate installer or your local building department to determine if a permit is required in your area and for your specific project. If you live on a corner property, additional restrictions may be attached to your permit that prevent you from installing a gate over a certain height or a privacy fence. Make sure you check with your installer about permitting before choosing a gate.

The average cost to install a driveway gate is around $3,500, and prices usually total between $1,900 and $6,000. However, security and driveway gates can cost as much as $12,000. Some cost factors include the size of the gate, the type of gate, the gate material, and the security level of the gate. A wrought iron gate will be more expensive than a PVC driveway gate, which will typically cost more than a wood gate. Automated gates are always more expensive than manual ones, as they require additional electrical installation.
