"Both ponds were drained, and leaves were cleaned out,  from all the spring winds.  James and Zack worked hard in power washing and rinsing both ponds.  The ponds were refilled and tested.  James and Zack worked right through the rain.  Great job guys.
Over all I have been very pleased with the original rebuild of the ponds last year and the cleaning this spring.

"We had an old pond that needed to be revamped. It was tough trying to find someone to do it. Brian gave us a fair quote after coming out to see it. The work was done quickly, and my pond is now STUNNING. I cannot get over the difference! We had to take it all the way down and replace the liner. In the process Brian was able to move the waterfall and reconfigure the little stream that we had. We have two young, very rowdy pups and Brian is a dog person, too. He made changes that would look great but also stand up to swimming puppies. He is super nice and easy to work with. The fish were thrilled to be released into their new home, too. You should definitely call him for your project!"

"I hired Adept to clear 14.7 acres of dense honeysuckle and saplings, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the results! They truly went above and beyond, far exceeding my expectations. While the project took a little longer than anticipated due to unpredictable weather, the final outcome was absolutely worth it. The pricing was spot-on, and the quality of the work was exceptional. It's clear that Adept cares about delivering top-tier service, not just focusing on the bottom line. If you're looking for reliable, meticulous work, I highly recommend them!"

"I interviewed three people before I decide at the higher Nick. Nick is very professional and knowledgeable. The project was a resurfaceing a existing with composite decking for a over 500 square-foot deck. The project threw Nick a few curveballs but he had no problem adapting, always keeping me informed. Definitely will rehire I already have a few projects in mind"

Aquarium Services FAQs, answered by experts

A properly installed and maintained septic drain field (also known as a leach field) can last up to 50 years, though the average is around 20 years. However, factors like poor soil conditions, heavy usage, or improper maintenance can significantly shorten its lifespan to 15-20 years.

To extend the life of your drain field:

  • Schedule Regular Inspections: Have the entire septic system, including the drain field, inspected every two to five years to catch problems early.

  • Protect the Area: Avoid driving heavy vehicles or placing heavy structures over the drain field. Plant only grass or other lightweight vegetation with shallow roots over the area.

  • Maintain the Septic Tank: Proper care of the septic tank, including regular pumping and avoiding harmful chemicals, prevents strain on the drain field.

Be aware of signs of failure, such as strange odors, standing water, or unusually lush grass over the field, which indicate your system may need professional attention.

No. You should never empty a septic tank yourself because it involves working with specialized equipment (that you probably don’t have) and puts you at risk of breathing in toxic fumes. Plus, once you’ve removed the waste, you’ll need to transport it and dispose of it safely. Instead, call an expert for this job. On average, hiring a pro to pump a septic tank costs $550.

Septic tanks appear full after pumping because the liquid levels have returned to normal. If you can see the pipe, the tank is empty. However, heavy rain can cause septic tanks to fill faster than normal. You might also have leaky pipes or faucets, causing extra water to drip down the drains and into the septic tank.

Over time, your septic tank can accumulate a buildup of sludge at the bottom of the tank. If left unpumped and uncleaned, the sludge will back up into your pipes and home, causing failure and extensive (and smelly) damage. Repairs to your septic system can be costly, which is why regular maintenance is required. It takes about 30 minutes to pump a septic tank that’s 1,250 gallons or less or 1 hour for larger varieties.

It only takes a few days for a septic tank to fill with water after a pro has pumped it. This is completely normal, and the water is a vital part of your septic system’s wastewater treatment process. The water that fills your tank days after pumping is not the same as the tank being filled with waste. You shouldn’t have to pump your septic system more than once every three to five years unless you have a tank that’s too small for your home’s water output or there’s a problem with your leach field.
