"In 2019 Juan and his team put a beautiful wraparound interlocking stone patio around my back condominium. He did beautiful work almost 7 years went by and the patio needed to be restored. He and his team came this last week and restored to what looks like brand new -Juan does the best work. I will be doing this patio maintenance with him now every three years."

"I cannot say enough positive things about Chris and Bobbie from Red Dirt Garden and Home who completed our sunroom project for Patio Enclosures. They were highly professional and knowledgeable about their craft. I have had other home improvement projects done at my home and I have not had the trust and confidence in any one like I had with Chris and Bobbie. I would highly recommend them for any home improvement project."

"DBC built a screen room on our patio. They did an excellent job and went above and beyond what was required. They worked efficiently, were easy to work with, cleaned up every day, were very competent. We highly recommend this contractor."
In the interior of the sunroom, white PVC wall panels were installed on the house wall, giving it a modern look as well as being water resistant.
Descending into this basement, you're welcomed by crisp white trim, a charming bar area and a big entertainment space, perfect for the whole family.
Complete with Privacy shades and a canopy, this family can adjust their outdoor experience however they please.

Small jobs welcome

"I could not be happier with the work done by William from Byler's Masonry. Our front porch was a hot mess and despite several attempts in the past to get a satisfactory outcome by just patching it up, it became clear that it needed to be completely replaced. William and his crew were professional, reliable and very easy to work with. We'll be hiring him again in the spring to do our driveway. I was happy not only with the overall service but also felt that the job was reasonably priced and the project was well executed. Just excellent all the way around."

"Overall the work quality was good, but they made several mistakes, one being a rather spectacular aesthetic mistake, and the owner of the company refused to take responsibility for fixing these mistakes and wanted more money to fix it. A couple weeks later some of the bricks are falling offâ we will see if they come to fix itâ ¦"

Patios questions, answered by experts

Even under the best of all circumstances, the maximum ROI on a pool is about 56%. There are other exterior home projects that you can do that are both less expensive to tackle and net a more significant ROI. These include:

With proper maintenance, the average life span of a screened-in porch is six to eight years for the screens themselves, but the foundation and structure can last for 50 to 100 years. To keep your screened-in porch in good shape, clean your porch screens regularly, patch holes, re-seal the wood as needed, and address any foundational issues right away.

Yes, a sunroom will require a permit. You may just need a general construction permit for a screened-in porch or solarium. For a three-season room with electricity and a four-season room with electric, heating, and cooling, you’ll need additional permits for each of the utilities, as well as a roofing permit.

The cost to screen in a porch depends on whether you are adding screens to an existing structure or building a new one from scratch. Adding screens to an existing porch costs about $5 to $7 per square foot, with a national average cost of around $2,800. For example, screening a 12-by-12-foot (144-square-foot) porch would likely cost between $700 and $1,000. If you are building a new screened-in porch, the cost is substantially higher. A new 12-by-12-foot screened-in porch can cost between $6,400 and $18,300, while a new 14-by-16-foot one averages around $11,000. The final price will vary based on the size of the porch, labor costs, and the materials you choose.

A screened-in porch can add value to your home, but it won’t count toward the total square footage at an appraisal or when it comes time to sell. A screened-in porch is not fully enclosed, usable year-round, insulated, or heated or cooled, so it doesn’t meet the requirements of livable square footage in most locations.
