"Chance Jacquay did a fantastic job with the conversation of a tub into a beautiful shower with all the accessories. Demolition took about eight hours, and the installation of the custom shower, pan, sliding door, U by Moen valve and SMART controller was completely in three days. Chance was a pleasure to work with, communication between us was great, and he always was positive and reassuring when I had concerns or questions. The finished bsthroom is a work of art now, and the price was very reasonable."

"I had Ken and his crew come out in Dec. 2019 to install a new shower and replace two sink faucets in our primary bathroom. They did a great job. We did need a little warranty work done recently and they sent out a service technician who did what we asked courteously and professionally. I love a company that stands behind their work and Prime Baths in Coal City does just that. Will use them again as needed for sure."

"not to good :( I felt I did most of the work by providing all the details floor plans and colors.  What I got back was only two floor plans and some websites to purchase living room deco and some paint samples. Not enough for the money I paid. It also took a month or so before I received these things too.

A bathtub liner can be a good idea if your budget is your top concern when planning a bathroom remodel. Installing a new bathtub liner can give your bathroom the look of a complete renovation without the high price tag. But, it’s somewhat of a band-aid fix and won’t work for all homes, like if you have a freestanding tub.

If your Corian® countertop begins to appear dull or dirty, or you notice scratches on the surface, you can return it to its original finish while maintaining its look. To do this, repair any scratches with a repair compound and sand the surface after it dries. 

Then, use an orbital sander with either a 100-, 30-, or 15-micron disc and finish with a hand pad (like Scotch-Brite™ 7447 or 7448) or lamb’s wool bonnet and automotive cutting compound for a matte, semi-gloss, or gloss-finish, respectively.

You can resurface or reglaze your bathtub, and it’s faster and less expensive than replacing a bathtub. Plus, replacing a bathtub is an extensive and intrusive process that requires wall repairs. Refinishing is an excellent option if the old one is in good working condition.

There are also options to install a bathtub liner over your existing tub. However, if you’re seeking a new bathtub with new features, you’ll likely want to replace your tub.
